You told me to fight with my shield
Block them out and never yield
My weapon
It was a tsunami that took out the soldiers
But they never wanted to turn back
As their world has turned to black
Their families are sent home to pack
And that started the crack
In the house
The new rule was to never go outside
Never in the winter, rain, or storm
You must lock your door and stay in your dorm
That's when everything started to freeze from warm
And that storm and crack started to form
She never to goodbye to him but she did
Took her kids and got the hell off the grid
With her emotions which she had hid
But the outside was the one thing that she chose to forbid
Never grow up
Never back down
Never beat up
But always go to town
Always make up
But never give them the crown
Because they're the clown
That stole your house and gown
Who left you there to drown
So I guess that you won't see them around
Leaving it a ghost town
You told me to fight
Just to see the light
Of day
Get your weapons ready
We'll win this war
I know that you've never done this before
But you are the only ones left my four
You'll stay alive is the only thing she swore
But she's been overused and washed up to shore
But everyday she just needed an encore
And I know that you haven't seen that side before
But she is here to end the war
Never grow up
Never back down
Never give up
Just go to town
Always make up
But never give them the crown
Because they're the clown
That stole your family and gown
Who left you there to drown
But now you won't have to see him around
Leaving him in a ghost town
I fought the war
I've never won before
But it's something I adore
