Somewhere there's a mother
Who had lost her father
And the lost father
Had a terrible mother
And that mother had a father
And that father had a daughter
And the daughter loved her mother
And that mother lost her daughter
But the daughter found the father
And that father divorced the mother
And it keeps ending all the same
Somewhere there's a father
Who always loved his family
But he hated that one person
And that person was me
Somewhere I was standing out in the rain
I didn't lose the ring or feel the harsh pain
I felt that shit before and it doesn't feel good
But knock knock knock on wood
That we can look upon the stars and smile
Somewhere there's a mother
Who always yelled at her daughter
But only loved one of the members of the family
And that person wasn't going to be me
Somewhere there's a father
Who chose to take his addiction to the next level
Leaving behind the people who had loved him
The clouds started to turn dark and grey
Making the whole world look morbid and grim
Somewhere there's a mother
Who chose to build her love for her kids
But then the words started to build and it digs
Where she's left alone her trailer where it forbids
And it crushes her through the floor and in the ribs
Somewhere there's a daughter
She wanted to know both of her parents so bad
So she gave everything that she had
Until she started to peel he skin with a blade
And she lost her mind and started to go mad
Where here we all can get a little sad
Somewhere there's a solution
It can end all of the deadly potions
As it will drown the pain with heavy motions
As I learn to swim the oceans
I only have a few notions
Because somewhere there's a family
That will finally include me
