Y/N wakes up in a good mood, its a Saturday meaning no classes which automatically put a smile on the Ravenclaws face. However thats not the only reason why she is in such a good mood. Toady is the day Y/N asks Hermione out on an official first date, as well as ask her to be her girlfriend.
Y/N smiles as she picks up the letter she wrote last night and reads it one last time before sending to her owl.
Dear Hermione,
Meet me at the edge of the forbidden forest at 11 today,
Y/N Black
The Ravenclaw girl folded the note into a letter and attached it to her owls foot "to Hermione Granger" she speaks and the owls flies off into the sky.
Y/N watches as the bird flies off and she looks at the time. 8 o'clock, everyone would be at breakfast except for Y/N who has other ideas.
She went down to the kitchens where she asks the house elves to prepare a picnic basket for her and Hermione. She quickly scrurries down the hall to the kitchen and enters and spots Pilsy filling up the basket.
"Miss Y/N, Pilsy is so glad to see you" the house elf says and Y/N smiles back
"Same here Pilsy and thank you for preparing all of this amazing food for the picnic" Y/N says and the house elf smiles giddily
"Of course, Pilsy loves to help miss Y/N" Pilsy replies
Y/N grabs the basket and waves back to pilsy "Bye pilsy and thanks again" and the Ravenclaw girlhead over to the forbidden forest where she will meet Hermione.

Y/N leans up against a tree and she spots Hermione walking down the grassy hill towards her. It was honestly a perfect day for a picnic, with the sun shining brightly and the weather being not too hoot or too cold.
Hermione wore simple blue jeans with converse shoes and a with a grey sweater and olive green coat over the top. She looked breath-taking. Y/N smiles warmly and drops the picnic basket and rushes to greet the Gryffindor girl in a tight embrace. Y/N spun Hermione in the air and she laughs at Y/N's playfulness.
Y/N gently puts her back on the ground "hey" Hermione says
"Hey" Y/N replies "so I'm guessing your a little confused on why I asked you here"
Hermione smiles "A little"
"Well Miss Granger this is our first date" Y/N says and holds Hermione's hand as she drags her to where she left the picnic basket and blanket lie. "Where having a picnic in the forbidden forest"
Hermione smiles and kisses Y/N's cheek "you're too sweet"
"I try to be" Y/N says blushing and holds out her arm "shall we"
Hermione laughs "lead the way"
Y/N leads Hermione through the forbidden forest keeping to the dirt path until they make it to an odd looking tree and they turn left off the track.
Y/N notices Hermione acting a little nervous and Y/N squeezes her hand "Its alright 'mione we're almost there"
Hermione nods follows Y/N. Suddenly they exit to a clearing where there is a small meadow surrounded by trees. The meadow has beautiful purple and white flowers. It truly looks magical.
"Y/N this place is beautiful how did you find it" Hermione says and Y/N smirks
"I had some help from Hagrid," Y/N says and she sets out the blanket in the shade under a tree and Hermione places the picnic basket in front of them. Hermione sits on the blanket and Y/N joins her except she lies down with her arms holding her up.
"So whats on the menu" Hermione says and Y/N pulls out some mini sandwiches and a charcuterie board with an assortment of cheezes and biscuits, along with some fresh grapes and fig slices "This looks amazing Y/N"
"Thanks Hermione but I can't take all the credit, the house elves helped with the food" Y/N says sheepishly and Hermione takes her hand
"But it was your idea and its perfect" Hermione and Y/N smiles and kisses the Gryffindors cheek
"I'm glad you think so, but right now I'm starving" Y/N says taking one of the mini sandwiches.
Hermione giggles and rolls her eyes "always thinking with your stomach"
The two girls eat and laugh and talk about everything and nothing at the same time, there were moments where neither of them talked at all but it wasn't awkward, just comfortable silence. The two just enjoyed spending time together.
"How is it that no one knows your birthday" Hermione says shocked
"Well I know my birthday and so does my aunt but she knows that I don't like celebrating it so she lets it be and doesn't tell anyone if they ask" Y/N
"Y/N thats crazy, are you even 15 yet"
"Yes I'm 15" Y/N laughs and Hermione huffs
"Why is it that you don't like your birthday" Hermione says and Y/N sighs
"Promise not to tell anyone why" Y/N says and Hermione nods "well in to simplify it I don't like the attention and well you know that my family is quite wealthy and I don't like it when people try to spend a lot of money on me when I'm already better off does that make sense"
"It does but what about Christmas. You get gifts then" Hermione adds
"Everyone else on christams gets gifts aswell so it makes me feel a little less guilty" Y/N says
"Alright Y/N but I'm still going to find out when your birthday is" Hermione says smirking "and you can't stop me"
"Good luck with that Granger" Y/N laughs and the Gryffindor girl rolls her eyes but smiles warmly "so anyways what are your plans for the summer, its coming up soon"
"Well I'm excited to see my family again, I really do miss them." Hermione says "it was hard not going back to see them for Christmas this year, but yeah I guess I would spend time with them whether its going to the theatre or a fun fair-"
"A fun fair" Y/N questions and Hermione giggles
"Yeah it's like- well its a type of muggle entertainment. There's music, show rides where you can win prizes and enjoy yourself, there's also food trucks and other sorts of fun things" Hermione says and Y/N smiles
"That so like so much fun, now I wanna go to one" Y/N says and Hermione smiles
"Maybe I just might ask you" Hermione smirks and Y/N blushes "but what about you what are yours and Harry's plans"
"My Aunt has planned one of her annual gala's for the summer so I'll have to attend that, she was also hoping to get Harry and I in contact with my dad again. It would be good just to see him even if it was only for a few days."
Hermione smiles "that sounds nice, I know how much you and Harry miss him"
"yeah, we do miss him a lot so I'm pretty happy that we will get to see him again" Y/N says and smiles "hey Hermione"
"Yeah" the bushy-haired girl replies sweetly
"Um well I- actually you know what what I'm just gonna blurt out and say it" Y/N finally says after she finally stops stuutering "I like you a lot Hermione Granger, I like everything about you and I would really like it if you were my girlfriend"
Hermione blushes and grins widely. She leans forwards and captures Y/N's lips in a sweet kisses. Y/N melts into the kiss and her hands guide down to Hermione's waist. The Ravenclaw's has a feeling that she would never get tired of kissing the bushy-haired girl.
Hermione breaks away from the kiss "it took you long enough"
The Ravenclaw laughs "so I take this as a yes"
Hermione grins "of course I want to be your girlfriend"
Y/N smiles and kisses Hermione tenderly "you know you could've asked me to be your girlfriend if you were that impatient"
Hermione smiles "I know but i just wanted you to do it"
Y/N laughs and pulls Hermione close once more their lips interwinging as they tenderly makeout in the meadow with out a care in the world.
