Chapter 3 - Deatheater Attack

The match plays out with so much excitement but in the end, the Irish take the win, much to Y/N's disappointment. overall the Ravenclaw did enjoy the game which was filled with excitement and being with her friends made the moment so much better. Now, the group make their way back inside their tent with Ron rambling.

"There's no one like Krum. He's like a bird the way he rides the wind. He's more than an athlete, he's an artist." Ron says and Y/N and Ginny scoff

"Think you're in love Ron?" Ginny says and Y/N laughs the twins start singing

"Viktor I love you! Viktor I do!" They sing then Jorden and Harry join in mocking Ron

"When we're apart my heart beats only for youuu!" they finish and Ron pouts comically

"laugh all you want, A man can appreciate talent," Ron says

Suddenly, loud bangs echo outside the tent. The group stop to find where the sound came from. Just then, a chant of voices rises like a lions roar beyond the tent.

"Sounds like the Irish have got their pride on," Fred says

"Stop it. It's not the Irish. We've gotta get out of here, now." Mr Weasley says then another loud bang is heard. "Get back to the portkey everybody, and stick together. Fred, George, Ginny is your responsibility"

Y/N, and the group scramble out of the tent and stare with disbelief at the hellish sight before them. People run in terror, trampling fires and kicking up sparks around them and then they see why.

Figures dressed in black cloaks and pointed hoods carry flaming torches walk eerily across the campsite, their faces are concealed behind hideous masks as they laugh drunkenly at the sight of witches and wizards run in terror. The crowd is panicked and rushing all over. Y/N grabs Hermione's hand without a second thought and they rush quickly through the crowd to find somewhere safe as well as escape the frantic crowd.

Y/N gets a better look at the figures and now she knows what they are. Death Eaters, the dark lords followers. Y/N knows that may be after muggles and witches and wizards like Hermione. She squeezes the Gryffindor girls hand a little tighter hoping it provides some comfort to the girl.

They duck behind a cart near a damaged tent. Y/N looks to find Harry with Ron, Flo and Jorden on the other side near another tent. The raven-haired boy spots them and gestures that they run to the edge of the trees. Y/N nods and looks to Hermione who looks slightly terrified.

"Okay, we head to the forest, we'll meet Harry and the others there," Y/N says and Hermione nods and tightens her grip on Y/N's hand

"Alright," Hermione says then the pair run as fast as they can back into the crowd of people.

Y/N and Hermione dodge and weave throughout the sea of people. As they reach the outer tents close to the edge of the forest when suddenly Hermione catches her foot on some of the tent rope and she falls to the ground. Y/N panicking rushes to her side. Thankfully people moved past them as Y/N assessed the damage.

"Do you think its broken" Y/N asks

Hermione shakes her head "no I think its just sprained"

"I can try and fix it with magic-"

"Y/N we can't use magic underage you know this" Hermione says and Y/N sighs

"Do you think you can walk," Y/N asks as she lifts her to her feet. Hermione starts to walk but as soon as she puts weight on her injured foot, pain shudders through her leg and she yells at the pain. Thankfully Y/N catches her to support her weight.

"I guess that answers your question," Hermione says with a weak smile but Y/N looks at her worried. The Death Eaters are still around and it's not safe where they are.
