"Corbin?" Abby says.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. I thought I was looking at an angel. She was short 5'2 ish I'd presume, definitely shorter than Abby. She had beautiful brown eyes, its as if someone melted peanut butter down to a liquid that reflected like the sea. A mixture of blonde and brown curly hair. It looked so clean and smooth like silk, I wanted to feel it to see if it was but scientifically I knew it was just dead cells. Her glasses were oval shaped with a cool brown camouflage color. Her face was white as a notebook paper with acne in randomized spots, but I honestly didn't care. She was tiny. I had to look down at her while she was looking up at me. I noticed her hoodie was a design I've never seen before and it said HS on the side.

" H-H-Hi, I'm Corbin" I replied still not taking my eyes off the angels face.

" Hi Corbin" She smiles " I'm Joey"

The sound of her voice makes me feel numb as I hear Abby.

" So Corbin is the smart guy in our class and so I thought he could show us around, we're new here."

"Ye-e-yeah sure of course" I replied, coming back to my senses. My hands are shaking so I carefully snuck them into my hoodie pocket.

Joey had headphones on while listening to music, I couldn't stop thinking about her as she interrupts my thinking as she sings a song.

"Who are you listening to?" I ask her with a smile.

"Harry Styles" She smiles back.

My eyes light up when she looks at me, I never felt in love before and never read it in a book so all I could go off of was how my Grandparents relationship is. "I've never heard of him before" I reply back half smiling.

"He's one of my favoritest musicians, you'll have to listen to him sometime" She smiles back at me as her hand goes up and she just starts pointing as she's lip singing.

I smile and continue walking them around the school.

"Where are we going, Corbin?" Abby asking concerningly.

"Didn't you wanna tour the school?" I replied.

"No silly, I meant like around town!" Abby says as she smirks knowing what she did to me.

"Oh right, how about after school?" I replied looking at Abby with a little fear and a shiver run down my spine.

"I've already seen the town and everything I just thought you might wanna help Jo Jo here, she's new to town." Abby replies with her smirk turning into a smile.

I stood confused, was she trying to set us up? I barely know her at all let alone her angel of a friend to actually do anything. I began to sweat and couldn't breathe. She took the breath right out of me and now an asthma attack? Perfect first inpression.

" I-I-I don-" I get cut off

"Yeah Corbin can you show me around town tonight? I need to know where the good coffee shops are." Joey says while still pointing her finger and smiling, tilting her head to the side that had her headphone in.

I smile back at her  "Yeah of course, what's your best form of communication?"

She giggles bringing a soothing sound to my ears "Do you have a cell-phone?"

"What's that?" I reply with a joking tone.

She rolls her eyes and takes off her bag and grabs a blue pen and a piece of paper. She puts one hand on my arm and the other with the paper onto my chest.

I gasp at the quick transition, and just stand still not wanting to move in fear of upsetting or messing her up. She removes her hand on my arm and grabs the pen, she starts writing her phone number down but I stopped looking at that after the first number and just looked at her. Her perfume snuck its way into my nose and smelled like cherries and sunflowers. An odd smell because I wouldn't have thought of them as a combination. Her eyes so focused as she stares at the piece of paper, she wouldn't have been able to recognize me adoring her beauty. At second glance I noticed she didn't have makeup on, I was actually happy because she didn't need it, she is beautiful just the way she is.

"Here you go, I gotta get to class but it was nice meeting you Corbin." Joey says handing me the piece of paper.

Our hands touch, her hands felt like a pillow. So soft and clean but also very tiny. I quickly released my hands "I'm sorry your hands were softer than I thought they would be." I say

"It's okay, see ya!" She smiles and starts walking away.

I glance at the piece of paper and back at her as she gets lost into the crowd of students.

"Wow" I say in awe tilting my head slightly and smiling as if I won the lottery.

"Have you ever been in love?" Abby says to me

I jump out of shock, not realizing that Abby was still here.

"No, I've only felt love from family members not really anyone else, plus there's not a study guide about love that I've found." I reply still smiling.

"Boy you got a lot to learn about relationships." She smirks and flicks her hair to the side as she walks away.

////     I don't know how good all of this is this is honestly super hard putting it into chapters because I just want to write the whole story on one page but that's a big no-no.
