Beep beep beep beep
That almost soothing sound of my alarm going off waking me up in a panic.
"Shit I didn't finish my research"
Normal kids get to stay in bed until 2-3 hours before school, not me. My parents always said "the people who change the world never sleep in."
My normally curly hair plops down on my face as I spring to my feet. I reach my arms out towards the ceiling and hear my bones pop. I groan at the fact that my 20 year old body already has the mileage to strain and crumble but that's the life of any kid I kept telling myself.
I struggle to put on my shorts and tank top before I run to my desk. Burgundy and Black across the top as the legs ran down in unison with each other and LEDs wrapped around the sides as if it was a Christmas tree. My books all stacked on top of each other from biggest to smallest neatly tucked away in the corner.
I pick up the only book in the middle of my desk that read AP World history and I open it to where my bookmark was as it read Chapter 3 the rise of Stalin and the NKVD. I always found it fascinating how some politicians came to power by being so sneaky and under the radar about so much, these people could be the people you walk by everyday and not notice an absolute evil side of them.
I write into my green spiral notebook the information I needed, after all who's gonna be the one that gets picked on for every question.
In a blur I was off my silky chair and running to the bathroom, I look into my mirror which was an old rectangular mirror and see myself. A skinny boy with brown eyes, really long eyelashes, and dark curly hair. My mother always said I looked handsome but then again she is my mother.
I shake my head the make my hair flick to the side of my head like how the rockstars or bad boys do it to show off for the girls. "That felt wrong on so many levels" I tell myself in low confidence.
// So this was just a intro I guess my English teacher always told me too describe a character before you start it but then again I never thought I'd be in this situation
