I quickly jump out of my car and run over to the passenger side door and open it. She started walking over to me and I got numb when she stepped out into the light from the street light. She was wearing a black tank top and ripped jeans with black shoes. Not breathtaking to some but to me I thought I was at a modeling event and she was the main show.

"It's so cold!" she says, giving me her smile that I couldn't get out of my head the entire day.

"I don't know you're cold, you look hot to me." I responded with a smirk.

She rolls her eyes ever so graciously and hugs me. I go into shock for a second and then hug her back. She smells like cherries again, my nose and brain work in sync to make me feel a different way in which I didn't feel since I met her.

"Oh my god, you're so warm." She says as she has her face buried into my body.

I smile in response which was dumb due to the fact she couldn't see it. I just hug her a little bit harder for a couple more seconds before she lets go and I follow suit.

"Let's go get you some coffee to warm you up." I say looking into her eyes which are covered by the shadows of the night. She smiles and gets into the car. I closed the door and went around the long way, so she couldn't see me smile and dance out of pure joy.

I get into the car and shut the door as the heat now fills the car. I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I open my eyes to Joey saying, "Do you have an aux cord?"

"No but the bluetooth is connected to my phone so here play whatever you'd like." I replied while handing her my phone. I reverse the car and pull out of the driveway, I switch to drive as the music starts playing.

"What are we listening to?" I ask in curiosity.

"My playlist, don't judge me or anything I have a taste for." She replies smiling while looking through my phone.

The music flows through my ears like a river through my ears. I looked over to the radio to see what song it was called "Golden by Harry Styles" was the words that came across the screen. It was a very good song, and it calmed my nerves a little bit. I looked over to Joey and she was lip singing the lyrics and pointing her finger in sync. It was the cutest thing I ever saw. I couldn't stop adoring her.

"Are you gonna stop?" She says out of the blue.

"Wait what" I replied because she didn't look over to me.

"The stop light." She replied quickly.

I looked up towards the street and saw the stop light turn to red. I quickly slam on the brakes and hold out my arm in front of Joey just in case we crashed, as a buffer to make sure only I flew out of the car.

The sounds of my tires screeching to a stop sent a chill up my spine. "Wow good first impression of driving to her you moron." I thought to myself.

"I'm so sorry, I usually don't drive this recklessly." I say to her with my smile turning into a frown.

She smiles back at me and my eyes meet her eyes, "It's okay."

I go back to focusing on the road. Wouldn't do much good to admire her then die. We finally got to the strip mall with the coffee shop nearest to the road. Thankfully they were still open. We pull into the drive thru and up to the big blue menu.

"What's your favorite type of coffee?" I ask as I look at the menu.

"Surprise me." She replies with a smirk.

I bite my lip, something I've never done around a girl before. "Okay boo." I reply

"Hi, welcome to Bennie's Coffee. What can I get started for you?" Said the worker.

"Can I get a Smores mores and a Carmel Harmel?" I say into the rundown microphone.

"Thank you, please pull forward." She replies very suddenly.

"What the hell is a Smores more?" Joey said with her smirk now turning back into a smile.

"Guess you'll have to find out." I reply, winking and biting my lip ever so slightly.

What the hell is this? I've never done any of this before. I did read that this was a common hormone for males, but I've never acted this way. The divine feeling I'm getting is intoxicating.
