I run in from riding in the car with Happy, eager to reunite with my family for the night.
"Where's my family?" I ask as I run through the halls
"In the court." Friday responds
"The courtyard? But I didn't seen anyone outside."
"The basketball court." she corrects
"What floor is that on?"
"If you get in the elevator, I can get you there."
"What floor, Friday?" I sigh as I stop running
"Third, Ms. Rogers." she settles
"Thank you." I run off and into the room I had no idea existed to see a game of basketball game currently being played
Pa runs my way as he chugs down some water while in work out clothes while a few others are dressed in undershirts and sweatpants like him or office clothes (I'm assuming their break became longer than expected).
"Hey Knighty, why don't you come and join us?" Sam asks as he passes the ball to Stark
Tony runs it to the basket, but I decide to make a last minute interference and block it from the basket as it's about to get into the goal.
"I have school work to do, and I'd hate to cause a rift." I mention as I walk off
"We're missing a member anyway, we can regroup teams and get ourselves water break. Whatdoya say?"
"What class is it?" Pa asks as he walks over
"American History." I mumble
He reaches down and grabs a bunched up t-shirt from the bleachers, throwing it to my chest and walking off. I hold it where it landed, awaiting an explanation.
"I'll do the assignment myself if it means that I get to spend my afternoon with one of my kids." he mentions as he walks away
I smile to myself and pull the shirt from my chest, unbunching it in my hands to throw it over my head and pull my arms through the gaping sleeves. I pull the shirt down my thin strapped-cherry dress, the shirt covering all of it and a little more.

I keep my heels on, setting my bag down and walk over to the basketball court and get to the middle where the self assigned captains are standing on the Avenger symbol that sits in the very middle.
"Who's picking first?" I sigh as I pull my hair out from the collar of the t-shirt
"Other than the fact that he's over fifty years older than me, his first and last name come before both of mine in the alphabet, he picks." Stark assigns
Pa nods and looks around, smiling knowingly when he sees my face.
