May 19-Avenger Compound-Sarah's POV
Currently i'm waiting for Steve to get into his uniform so we can start the training. Tony made me a temporary uniform to wear, we decided i'm an honorary Avenger..I work with them if they 'need' me there.
I've been able to get to know Steve a little better too, I feel a bit more comfortable with him emotionally and physically. Not by much, but I don't freeze up as much when he looks at me so we're making progress. Clint left to go back home to his family, that reunion will probably be quite happy.
"That's Clint's baby?" I ask Natasha as she shows me a video
"Fat." Natasha states
I rub her back, which she leans into before I feel a large hand on my side.
"You ready to go?" I hear from behind me
I look up as I turn around and see Steve all dressed and ready to go, patiently waiting for me with a soft smile.
"Are they?" I smirk as I start walking us to the staircase
"How do we look?" Natasha asks
"Well..we're not the twenty-seven Yankees." Steve responds
"We got some hitters."
"Not good enough." I point out
"They're good, they're not a team." Steve adds
"Let's beatem into shape." Natasha smiles as we walk
When we get into the main room, Rhodey and Vision turn around, Sam and Wanda fly in, taking a firm stance. I wave at Sam just a little, he nods with a lightening smile in return.
"Avengies." I announce
"Avengers." Steve announces
We turn to look at each other in confusion, I shake my head and look back at the new guys.
"Let's go!" I exclaim before I make a big clap and we start warming up
"Where are we starting first, Knighty?" Sam asks from the back
I look at Steve, but he gives me the same expression.
"We have to train for every posibile situation, I know we have a few particular people who're looking to take us down. Plus, all of you know we have a few missions that are written out, but we need to prepare. So, first we have to get Wanda to outsmart them mentally. Your jobs other than her is to take them down by outwitting their physicality. Vision I trust that you can fly without working on it, but Sam you've only been flying on military missions and one Avenger one. To start your training i'm gonna have you start using your wings for more than just flight, use them as a weapon and a shield. Rhodey you are going to be working on getting comfortable with your suit that I got Tony to change a few pieces of." I list off to the group
"Yeah, I love my 'World's Best Colonel" patch." he jokes
"You got him one of those? Why not me?" Steve asks as he pokes my arm
"You self promoted, you don't consider yourself a colonel anymore." I shrug
They all nod and head over to different spots of the room, Steve puts his hand around my shoulder as Natasha puts hers on my back.
