Bucky's POV
"No, no I don't-I always end up proving that in some unexpected way." Steve admits with a chuckle
"Would it be an alias like Nat's? Hers are always so close to her real name, though I never met any of them." Sarah asks
"Tony did, that's actually how they met."
I chuckle at Steve's words
"But did she show her type of personality at all?" Sarah peeks up
"I think so. She took Happy down in the ring within a few seconds then got up and walked off." he shrugs
"What was the name?" I almost smile
"'Natalie Rushman.'" he let himself laugh
"What did they meet for?"
"Notary." he nods as he lets it out
"Anyways, so what would Sarah's name be?" I break out
"You have any ideas?" Steve looks at the girl
"We could use my Aliyah one."
"No. Too many bad memories and we only used it last year because we didn't have a choice." I refuse
"Okay..any ideas?" Sarah looks back at Steve
I watch as his expression changes from one filled with concentration to one of excitement.
"Margaret Rose." he beams
"What?" Sarah chuckles
"Margaret Rose." he repeats happily
"But Margaret is my middle name."
"True."
"Rose." he counties to smile like a kid
"Why do you seem so insistent on this?" I ask
"I wanted to name Sarah 'Rose', but I wasn't there on the day she was born. Having Peggy's full first name as her middle one is good too, but it was because the first time I met Peggy all I could smell was roses because of her perfume. Then when I first came out of the thing from Project Rebirth, all I smelled was roses." Steve reminisces
"Okay, so Rose..what?" Sarah asks
"Rose Rogers." I chuckle
We all shake our heads
"Rose Barnes." Sarah jokes
"No." Steve and I state firmly
"Okay..then what?"
"It's not that I mind the cover having my last name, it's just the first name with that name..too many memories." I assure my dau-niece
"Well I don't want my fake last name to be Stark, that would get me a lot of attention I don't want."
"Well..what if we did make the alias' last name of Barnes, we just add 'Rose' as the middle name. Would that be okay with you, Buck?" Steve eases into his words
"Yeah, yeah i'm okay with that." I accept it
"So..Something Rose Barnes." Sarah sighs against my front
"What about the personality thing? If you don't want them to figure it out..who are you supposed to be?" I realize
"Who I would've been." Sarah states dreamily
"What do you mean?" Steve leans forward
"I can't actually be my old self. I barely remember her.., but I could act like what young Sarah was."
