"Good morning, Ms. Rogers. Lady Rushman has prepared breakfast for you, it will be awaiting your arrival in the microwave." I hear Friday announce
She scares me but apologizes when she senses my fear, I fix my pajamas and walk to the stairs. I get to the kitchen level and I run to my Pa to greet him good morning. He catches me and spins me around.
"Good morning, My girl." he greets with a big smile
"Good morning, Pa." I smile as I wrap my arms around his neck
He carries me to the table and sets me down in a seat next to his, soon after he brings me my plate from the warmer where Friday said it would be. Pa hands me a fork and spoon as for me to eat.
Sam walks over to us and sits on the opposite side of the small round table before trying to take a muffin from Uncle James' plate. He smacks Sam's hand away from the squishy breakfast food.
"Нет." Tătic shorts as he swats the arm away
Sam looks at me as in question
"He said no." I tell him
"But I want a muffin." Sam replies
Uncle James grabs a different muffin from his plate, bites off and eats the entire muffin top before throwing the bottom part at Sam.
"Oh now, come on." Sam sighs as he reaches to grab it from the floor
"You're responsible for cleaning it up, Wilson." Tony calls out
"But, he's the one who threw it." Sam accuses
"I'm not one to defend Barnes, I kind of like you as a person if i'm being honest, but you don't try to take a baked good from someone's plate." Tony replies
I laugh at the sight before he cleans himself up, Pa keeps tapping my left shoulder with his arm still around me.
"What?" I ask as I turn to look up at him
"You need to get ready for school."
"Five more minutes?" I plead
"Three, but you have to eat."
I nod with a small huff, eating as much of my spinach omelette as I can before i'm patted on the back to leave. Uncle James slides me a cup of water, enabling me to wash the eggs and greens down with something other than oil and cheese.
"Sarah, meet me down in the med-room after you change into your school clothes." Tony announces from his spot in the dining room
I run to the apartment and into my room, I grab a sweater and some pants then walk into the washroom and get on into the shower. I wash my hair and body then rinse myself off, wrapping my body in a warm towel and twisting my hair up to cleanse my face over the sink.
Once my face is clean, I put my creams on my face and body then put my hair products in. I ruffle my curls then slip into my clothes for the day.
