Sarah's POV

Once I have my things in my bag, having to push the kevlar pad to the back of the bag so no one can see it. The sky's been extremely grey today, so the fact that it's beginning to drizzle doesn't surprise either of us.

When I finish that, I meet up with Peach and we head to the bus station for us to endure a tiring ride on a subway.

"You look like you've been through a lot." Peach smiles softly

"I'm just tired." I sigh as I rub my eyes

"Here, you can use my shoulder as a pillow." she smiles softly as she pats her shoulder

"Are you sure?"

"Of course." she nods

I lean down and lay my head there, not giving her my full weight since super soldiers tend to be heavier and i've been gaining my weight back. By the time we've gotten to our stopping point, Peach is sleeping with her head on top of mine. I tap her lower thigh by her knee and she jumps from her sleep, waking up at the sudden stop of mass movement and my gesture.

"See you on Monday." she smiles

"See you." I nod

We get off to head our separate ways, for me to walk from the city of Staatsburg to make my exhausted way to the compound.

"Sarah?" a voice is heard beside me

"Happy?" I yawn

"You want me to drive you home?"

Home?

"Tell me something only you would know." I edge

"About you?"

I nod

"When you moved out of The Tower and into the compound, you refused to pack up any of Cap's things." the driver nods

"The Tower had been broke into, choose a different thing." I shake my head

"You and your sister were raised by each other's Godfathers, your brother was named after Katherine's Godfather who raised you and he refuses to visit her." Happy thinks out

I nod

"Tell me something only Sarah would know." he challenges

"Happy's guilty pleasure song is 'Escape' by Robert Holmes." I smirk

"Shhh, that's a secret. Get in." he whispers

I nod and climb into the backseat, still a little weary of the person in the driver seat being a faker. We wait out the red light before he goes onto the other road that we typically take to get to the compound, careful to avoid traffic.

When we get to the compound, I give Happy a fist bump before climbing out from the car for him to put it away. Once i'm out, I make my natural route from the compound doors to the super soldier level of the personal building like normal. As I climb the stairs, I think about how much I just want to curl up in bed with Uncle James and fall asleep for my nightmares to overcome me.
