Rogers' Residence
Steve's POV

"What do you wanna do for Thanksgiving this year?" I ask Sarah as we sit on the couch

"I don't know, a couple of months ago I figured we would go to the compound or have Uncle James here to help celebrate the holiday. Now that none of that is happening, I don't know what to think." Sarah shrugs

"I've got an idea." I smile with secrecy

"How much of that day will your idea take up?"

"A couple of hours, I say that we eat breakfast and lunch here, but we go to Manhattan for dinner."

"Manhattan? That's it?" Sarah asks in shock

"I have a plan, but it's a surprise. Plus, I have to buy something to ensure that we're going there at all."

"I can make some of the food, James brought over a bunch of recipes that belongs to Kathy and Ma. I can attempt a few of those, plus I remember a couple of things."

"Good, it's a date." I smile

Sarah nods happily before looking back at the television that's playing a movie that Sam lended to us. It's called A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

Now I need to find a way to get Sarah and I tickets to the Christmas Spectacular for Black Friday night.

She likes to celebrate Thanksgiving as its own holiday-said "it doesn't get as much attention as it deserves". The origin of the holiday isn't great, or really good at all, but I wouldn't be here without it and I wouldn't been able to help the ways that i've done.

Oh no..i'll never be able to get tickets at this rate.

I get off of the couch, taking Sarah's feet off of my lap before walking down the hallway to make a phone call.

"Hi, this is the Radio City Music Hall. Press 1 if you are to buy tickets for a show, Press 2 if you want to reserve special seating, Press 3 if you are a dancer calling in and stay on the line if you want to talk to our area manager."

I press one and wait.

"Hi you've reached the ticket booth for the Radio City Music hall, how can I help you?" a woman with a Swedish accent asks on the phone

"Hey, I wanted to know if there were any spots left for the day after Thanksgiving." I state as I try to talk quiet enough to prevent Sarah from hearing me

"We have ten open spots for the morning show and we have three spots open for the night show." she names off

"Can I get two of those three seats for the night show?" I ask her

"Of course, can I get your name?"

She sounds familiar

"Steve Rogers, ma'am." I nod even though she can't see me

"Alright, 'Steve Rogers' we'll see you in a couple of days." the ticket advisor snarks

I sigh before hanging up the phone, I think I can pay cash when I get there. Walking back to the apartment I hear Sarah singing something. I walk in to see her standing on the couch while singing "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", I creep up as quietly as I can but decide against scaring her.

"We're going to Manhattan on Friday." I announce

"What do we wear? Is the restaurant fancy?" Sarah asks as she turns around

"I'm going to guess nice holiday clothes? I say in a curious tone

"Okay..like Sarah or Delilah?"

"Sarah. I gave the ticket woman my real name."
