I see the relief in her eyes which confirms I need to end this for now anyways I say bed time and dim the lights I go to my desk when she asks am I not coming to bed. I tell her I have work which isn't a lie the events of the night has derailed me. I see her face fall and I feel a pang of guilt I see and hear the rejection in her voice as she says goodnight and turns away. To make it worse I hear her whimper. Which tells me I have fucked up. You idiot Tom ill give her 5 minutes and I head over to her for abit. Before I know it I hear the gentle sighs of her breathing she is asleep. I can't focus so I go over and lie on the bed I pull the cover up over her and watch her sleep before I know it im gone.
