I wake up and she is gone. I feel lost again, not knowing when I will see her again. My mind wanders back to last night. Leah looked incredible.

The judge calls a recess and we head too lunch.
Joe comforts Clare. I pace up and down. Natasha and ivor look worried. They think he will walk. I'm furious.
We all sit for lunch but not one of us Has the stomach for food. We try not talk about the case as Clare is distraught. We just have to see what the prosecution can do. The judge calls us all back in. The prosecution ask to speak to the judge. We all wonder what's going on. The judge annouces to the court that there will be another witness called today. Eric looks unphased. The judge resumes the trail and the prosecution begin to question Eric.
So Eric you say you never lied to these women?
No I was always honest about everything. It's in their contracts if they didn't read them properly that is there own fault.

I never said that Eric shouted. The judge called for a 10 min recess to calm things down.
Eric's ego couldn't handle being told he was weak or second best. And even though he still hasn't admitted he killed Chloe and Josh his behaviour would say different.
We all sat there feeling we may have turned a corner. But you wouldn't know what would happen here Eric was cunning. So we would have to see.
We head back in and Izzy is called to the stand. She has been already sentenced for her part in taking Leah. 3 yrs in prison. She admitted to everything once she seen what her life with Eric was going to be like.
The defence questioned her about Taking Leah she admitted she took her by gunpoint but it was on Eric's request. They tried to get her to say Eric had nothing to do with it. But she stuck to her word that he encouraged her to do it. It was his plan, she was just the idiot that ran with it.
The prosecution had there turn with her and she basically said the same thing, she was off her face. Eric convinced her he would make Leah pay for humiliating them all. That all she had to do was get her away from Tom. Which she did.
And that Eric had plans to torture her.
Izzy wasn't on the stand long.
It looked like they were all done when the prosecution called out Leahs name. And in she came head held high straight past Eric without a backward glance. His face just dropped. No one could believe she was actually here. Except me of course.
She was sworn in and waited to be questioned.

I kneed him in the balls,I did not give him permission to touch me in anyway. I was protecting myself as he was angry when he pulled me back.
I avoided contact with him until the conference. When he fakely tried to apologise to me for touching me. I choose not to accept his apology. As I felt it wasn't heartfelt and it was a trick.
He was furious shouting at me. Threatening to show me how to behave like a good little pet. I just walked away. Then I found Clare she was trying to hurt herself. This man had mistreated her so badly that she would rather be dead than be with him.
What happened after that.
We took Clare with us to keep her safe. Eric turned up at the party shouting the odds . They came to an agreement the guys would buy Clares contract. But Eric never intended to sell it. He managed to get izzy in to the house were she found me and forced me to go with her to Eric.
While in his custody he told me he would ruin me and Tom from the outside in. I told him he wouldn't he said he would get in Tom's head like he did with Chloe. And then he would take me from Tom. And I'd end up like chloe and Josh. Dead after he raped me to the point I'd beg him to kill me. Then he would destroy Tom and his business.
If it wasn't for one of his men letting me go he might have succeeded.
So Leah after he was arrested you disappeared for over 7 months why?
Well it was a couple of weeks after Tom had started to push me away like Eric knew he would after the revelation he killed Chloe and Josh. I wasn't giving up and refused to let Eric destroy us. Until I got a note from Eric. Telling me tick tick I'm coming for you one by one and Tom will pay he will watch me take your life like I did with chloe and Josh. Then i started getting text messages from an unknown number. So I rang the guards and went into hiding until today.
I couldn't risk Eric hurting Tom ,Clare or Joe. It was me he wanted after all. The texts have continued coming up until today. Threats not to show up in court or he would rape me, then kill me. Torture me and kill everyone I've ever known.
So why come back?
Because I will not live in fear of a petty egotistical monster. He has ruined to many lives he will not ruin mind. I'm not or never will be afraid of him. I look straight at him as I say this.
I have every threat he has sent to me and I'm sure they can work it back to him to prove he is a monster.
Plus while I was away I've been digging myself into Eric. He is wanted in two other countries for rape and battery. Plus I found a copy of the surveillance camera that went missing from the Chinese. Eric paid them to lose the footage but they didn't and you can clearly see Eric is driving the car the night Josh and chloe are killed. The whole court goes quite. Eric jumps from his seat and lunges for me. I'll kill you if it's the last thing I do. I'll fucking kill you.
The guards take him out. And his defence team follow. The judge asks for order and tells the jury. That they will have to stay on till tomorrow to hear closing arguments and then deliberate.
We are allowed leave. I'm surrounded by people looking for answers Josh and Chloe's families what to talk. I'm not ready to deal with them or Tara and the rest of them. I just want to get to Tom. I look up and see him heading straight for me. Back off people he orders. She will talk when she is ready. I run into his arms just relieved its finally over. Tom i'm so sorry for everything I cry. Leah I'm sorry I should have known Eric was behind you disappearing why didn't you tell me that morning I found you in the office. I couldn't risk anyone getting hurt Tom so I ran to protect myself and you guys. We kiss and Tom pulls me away from everyone. Tom I can't stay, I have to go. But the trail is over he won't get away with it. I know but until he is found guilty I can't stay here so hopefully by tomorrow. I'll be back I have to talk to you about some other stuff before we can go back to they way it was. Leah it will never go back to the way it was. It can't to much has happened.
