I feel everyone's eyes on me as I enter the building. I head to the lift when behind me i hear Tim.
Think your so clever don't you. Excuse me I say.
Use me for a free meal and treat me like dirt. But turn up here with him to show me up with your little display out there. I dont know what your talking about Tim.

Excuse me Tim,if I remember correctly you were not only late but you brought me to a club in order to get me drunk so I'd have sex with you. But you left me standing like a fool. Its not my fault you were to busy getting high with izzy . You showed your true colours Tim. To be honest I only agreed to the date to get Tara off my back. But I'm glad I went because I seen you for the horrible little man you are. And if you tell anyone about me i'll tell them about your filthy little habit and how you tried to take advantage of me.
Tim i'd advise you to think carefully about your next move because it won't be me crying. With that the doors open and I walk out. Nearly sick to the stomach over what just happened. How did I ever think he was a nice guy.
I walk to my desk and switch on my computer.
Great my inbox is full looks like nobody did anything while I was off.
This is going to be a long day.
Suddenly Tara appears with tea. Peace offering she says and puts a snack bar down to sweeten the apology.
Time for a chat she says,not really my inbox is full here and I have a meeting in 20mins, i'll meet you for lunch if thats OK.  Sure the canteen at 1pm, can we go out to many prying eyes here. Sure meet you downstairs. Oh can you keep an eye on Tim. I've already had a rude encounter with him and he ain't happy that Tom dropped me off this morning. Oh that sounds serious fill me in quickly I can't ,well not here see you at lunch.

Tara strolls off but I can see others looking over dying for the gossip. What happened with Tim and who was the handsome devil that dropped me off this morning.
My phone beeps and its Tom have a great day little girl. I smile to myself and reply you too x
I get stuck into my emails and sort my day out. I head to my meeting and have to sit with Tim staring evils at me the entire time. Prick I think.
I head back to my desk to find a bouquet of flowers and there from Tom.

I take my phone out and type thank you they are beautiful. Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl he replies.
Lunch time comes quickly and I grab my bag and head to meet Tara just as the lift door closes Tim manages to open them again and walk in.
Not this idiot again I say nothing just keep my head down. Listen leah i'm sorry about earlier but you have to understand where I'm coming from .Myself and izzy got banned from the club. So I was wondering if you could get the ban lifted in order for my silence.
My mouth hits the floor. Excuse me I say. I was wondering Tim starts.

We head to our usual spot and grab a booth. We order our usual and when the waiter leaves Tara practically shouts spill at me.
So what happened with Tim who is the dream boat Knight in shining armour and what has been going on the last week.
I tell her all about Tim and what happened she is furious i'll kill him she shouts. Get in line i say.
So who is the dreamboat. Thats Tom he is the owner and my saviour I laugh. He picked me up and looked after me that night. Tara I was mortified my behaviour was awful.
No it wasn't if I had of been there Tim would have been picking his teeth off the floor.
I laugh at Tara,she is so dramatic.

Nothing happened I just fell asleep on the couch. And when I woke I tried to run away but my ankle was still sore so Tom followed me to make sure I was OK thats when I got home and we had our thing. We eat up and walk back.
Tara tries to push for more info. I tell her nothing saying its new not sure if it will grow into anything.
She gives up for the moment. She suggests dinner but I tell her I'm meeting Tom. She laughs abandoning me already. Im so hurt does he have a brother. I laugh she is always on the look out.
No unfortunately only child like myself. Damn it she says.

I go back to my desk and find chocolates.

I get my head down and start working to get me through the day quicker.
A few of the girls try to casually ask about Tom. But I just say a friend and leave it at that.
At about 4pm I head to the bathroom. While in there two women come in and are chatting. I'm  about to flush when I hear one of them say. Tim said she let him wine and dine her and when she got into kals she went off with another guy. And when he approached her to call her out she lost the plot and hit him. Causing such a scene then got Tim and his friend kicked out. The other lady says that doesn't sound like Leah. Well Tim said she threatened him in the lift this morning.  No way.
My stomach dropped to my feet. Is he for real. I see red I flush swing the door open the two women nearly die with embarrassment at being caught gossiping. I wash my hands dry them. While they try to apologise. No need ladies but Dont believe everything that wessel tells you. No if you want to see the show follow me and you will learn the truth about good aul Tim. I'm livid as I storm out of the toilet in search of Tim. I storm past Tara with the other two following Tara calls me but I don't stop. The other two try fill her in. She is running behind me telling me to calm down. But I'm too far gone. Fuck Leah you will get fired I don't give a fuck.
He isn't in his office Tara tries to block me. But I swerve out of her way. Please Leah calm down.
I find Tim in the canteen its full he is with the lads boasting as usual.
I run up to him and punch him straight in the face.How fucking dare you I scream. Tim looks stunned on the floor. What the fuck Leah he shouts. You tell everyone the truth about our so called date. Tell everyone how you were late, you abandoned me in a club to get off your face in a toilet then tried to get me drunk so I'd sleep with you. Lies he shouts you used me and fucked off when your fancy man from this morning show, The minute he show you interest.
Tim I'm warning you tell the truth or ill show everyone that video. The whole place is staring at us. I don't care at this stage ive probably lost my job either way. Fuck you I shout tears running down my eyes. I suddenly feel two hands pull me up away from Tim. But I start kicking Tim. I'll make him pay for this. I look over my shoulder and see Tom, I just burst into tears. Its ok Leah its ok go get your things now. Tara take her out.
I walk head down ashamed of my behaviour. I hear Tom shout at Tim to get up. Tim scrambles away afraid of what might happen.
What kind of man spreads lies about a woman he shouts at Tim.
Tim doesn't say a word. Everyone is still. Tom looks around at them all. Everything Leah said is true this prick made all that other stuff up. He is just a jealous minded creep that uses women. If I hear of him or anyone spreading lies about Leah again you will have me to deal with.
And Tim I will be handing footage off your behaviour over to the police as promised expect a visit in the next few days.
Don't come near my club or Leah again or you will regret it.
I walk out my rage close to bubbling over. Keep it together Tom. Keep it together Leah needs you I tell myself.
I get to her desk she has gone. Thank god Tara was smart enough to call me. Leah was furious and rightly so.
I see her outside crying into Tara's arms. It takes all my strength to not go back up and kick the shit out of that prick.
Leah are you OK, she looks up at me and begins to sob. Its ok Leah let's go and get you cleaned up.
We walk to my car and leah slides in.
I ask her does she want to go home she says no. We have a dinner date. We can go to dinner anytime Leah. I will not let that prick run anymore of my day Tom. OK we can go the club and you can freshen up. OK she nods.
We pull up to the club, Joe is pacing up and down. Tom is everything OK. Yes I say Just had to wrestle this one off your man from the first night in the club.
Tom do we need a lawyer Joe asks again raising an eyebrow.
Leah laughs why would Tom need a lawyer me maybe.Tom smiles and says don't worry I doubt Tim will be reporting you to the cops. Im sorry Tom. What are you sorry for he got what he deserved Leah.
I'm mortified and more than likely fired, not that I can ever return to the office regardless.
Forget about it Leah, let's get you a drink and ice for that hand.
Joe says I'm on it boss remind me not to piss this little wildcat off in the future he says cheekily.
I giggle as we head to the office.
Once inside Tom pulls me to him. Are you OK Leah. No but yeah I say. It will be ok don't worry. How Tom if I haven't lost my job I can never go back. They all believe Tim god knows what else he is saying. Who cares if your not going back. I do Tom its my reputation. Plus who will hire me after what I just did. Leah calm down go have a shower I'll get you a drink. And we can talk about it. OK I say with tears in my eyes again. Hey hey baby girl, Tom walks over and hugs me it will all be OK. I promise.i just sigh and head to the bathroom to cry my eyes out again.
