07. Club Scene

Lawson

CHEAP, NOT OVERPOPULATED, BUT NOT UNDER POPULATED, WITHIN distance by the weekend.

That is the criteria I had been given for finding a club for us to feed at. First thing we had to do is figure out where we would be by Saturday. After a bit of discussion with Emerson and Reese we decided Utah would be the appropriate place to be.

After we had that done, I let Reese drive the R.V. while I sat in the back.

I decided to just get the state picked out for today.

The next day we'd do some research into it. Along with a nice, cooked breakfast.

My alarm woke me up and I shut it off instantly before getting up. We had parked near a gas station, so I walked over and used the bathroom. While our R.V. has a bathroom, we preferred not to use the toilet unless it's an emergency. The shower we use when at an R.V. sight or somewhere we can stop and drain everything.

I had talked to my dad for the whole experience on what to do. He talked me through it and always told me I could call him for any questions.

Once I was done with the gas station, I jogged back to the R.V. before getting everything ready for a nice but simple breakfast.

I decided to do fried eggs with some bacon and toast. Emerson and Reese were still sound asleep which worked to my advantage. I could surprise the two with breakfast and also look for some clubs around Utah.

I wouldn't do any five-star clubs with a bunch of ratings as they're bound to be expensive. I leaned against the counter while the eggs cooked in the pan before flipping them as I took down three plates.

Once the eggs were cooked, I put them on the plates before I set the bacon in the pan and cooked the bacon up before popping some bread in the toaster and letting them toast.

Once the bacon is done, I removed the pan and took the bread out and buttered them up before putting the slices with the eggs and then splitting the bacon between the three of us.

Once the bacon was split, I picked up the plates and brought them over to the beds and set mine down on my bed before opening up the T.V. trays we had and setting Emerson and Reese's food down.

"I made breakfast." I told them knowing they'd eventually smell the food in front of them.

A simple breakfast but better than anything microwaveable.

I laid down on my bed with my food and propped myself up before I began to eat.

By now we had all grown accustomed to either eating in bed or in the seats at the front of the R.V. when we had a meal of some sort. Very rarely did we actually take a seat to eat. It's much more comfortable in bed and we had no house rules besides our own.

I cut into the egg yolk before dipping some toast in and taking a bite. I sat there quietly eating before Emerson woke up. He was the first to wake.

"Smells good." Emerson commented.

"I made breakfast. Bacon and eggs. I also made some toast for you guys to eat." I told him and Emerson smiled.

"You spoil us." Emerson murmured.

"Just a basic breakfast. Thought it'd be nice to not have the microwaveable breakfasts or cereal this morning." I told him and Emerson nodded.

He pushed himself up and grabbed the plate and began eating. I opened my phone up and typed in clubs in Utah.
