"What?" I say dropping my purse on the ground. I look around the room in awe. "Sam?" Flowers and streamers are everywhere filling the room. I look over at Sam and he's holding a wrapped present.
"Happy birthday." He smiles.
"But I-" He quickly cuts me off.
"Never told me. I know. But Eden did." He walks over to me and hands me the gift. I feel warmth when his hand touches my cheek. I stare up into his eyes and he tucks my hair behind my ear. "I wanted to do something special. So tonight, me and you. And tomorrow, everyone else." He smiles.
"Sam." I wrap my arms around him and tuck my head under his chin. The smell of his cologne fills my senses. Rain and sandalwood. I lift my head up and look at him. "Thank you." He nods and places his hands on both sides of my face. He leans in and kisses my forehead. I sigh and close my eyes, not wanting to let go of him. He leans back and looks at me.
"Time for presents." He chuckles.
"Sam POV*
"So. I made dinner. Your favorite." I walk her to the table and hear her giggle. I pull the chair out and she sits. I sit across from her and see her smiling at me. "What?" I chuckle.
"Nothing." She says. A blush fills her freckled cheeks.
"Liar." I say. She smiles and shakes her head. "Open it." I nod to the gift she's still holding. She laughs and starts opening it hesitantly. "Just open it." I laugh.
"I don't want to ruin the paper." She giggles.
"It's paper. Rip it open." I say. She sighs and starts tearing the paper open. She reveals the white box with small green flowers i painted on it. She looks at me and I smile at her. "Go on." I say. She carefully opens the lid and her eyes go wide.
"Sam!" She yells. She looks up at me again with wide eyes. I grin. She looks down again and her radiant smile covers her face again. "Sammy.." She pulls out a white summer dress and stands up. "This is.. This is beautiful." She looks at me.
"Go put it on." I nod towards her room. "I have to get your other present. She smiles and runs to go put it on. I quickly get up and set the table. Once done with that, I quickly check my coat pocket for the other present. I hear her door open and I turn around. I take a deep breath in, unable to speak. The dress fits her perfectly. It hugs her waist extenuating her hips, her long tan legs poking out of the slit of the dress, the sleeves fall on her shoulders, and her neck and collarbones glowing against the white.
"Damn." I whisper. She giggles and does a little twirl. As much as I like the front of the dress, I must say, the front doesn't compare to the back. She turns back around and faces me again. I feel my body get hot all over.
"Sam?" She asks. She walks up to me and I can't look any where else but her. "Does it look okay?" I nod. "Are you sure? I can go change again."
"No." I answer quickly. I look into her eyes. They always make me fall deep into a trance. Dark and brown, with little flecks of gold. My new favorite color. "You look.." I stammer.
"What?" She asks.
"You look like an angel." I say. She softly smiles and blushed again. I can't wait anymore. I grab her hips and pull her in. Finally. Her lips touch mine and it feels like heaven. I knew they would be soft. I feel her deepen the kiss and I wrap my arms around her middle, while hers wrap around my neck. The kiss turns into more, and when we pull away we're both out of breath. I open my eyes and she still has hers closed. I run the pad of my thumb across her bottom lip, and she opens hers. She blinks at me. "I'm sorry. I couldn't help it." She smiles and caresses my cheek. I lean into her touch and sigh. Gentle soft hands run from my face to my chest. Oh god.
"I'm starving." She giggles. Im starving too, but not for food.
