A few days before Christmas, Arthfael kept asking what my parents might like for a gift, and I told him that anything would do, so when I asked him what his mom and her sister might like for a gift, he also said that anything would do.
But he also told me that his sister likes books. And he said that her mother doesn't really like material things.
I bought books and eyeglasses for her sister, and I decided to bake macaroons for her mom. I don't know how to bake, so I asked Mom to help me.
Daddy was so eager to get to know Arthfael, and I don't know why.
I spent Christmas vacation with the San Martins. I stayed in the mansion where Riu and Kuya Evandro were staying, and to my surprise, Ciara was also there.
Ciara is actually my cousin's childhood friend, and she's more likely their sister. I'm not really close to Ciara, but she's really nice. Actually, I'm thankful that Ciara was there, so my grandparents will never point their attention to me. Christmas Eve was spent having dinner with San Martins.
"Dito na po, ma'am," My driver said when we stopped in front of a white gate.
Arthfael told me the address of their house. He volunteered to fetch me, but I told him that there was no need because my parents wanted my driver to drive me where I was going, para alam daw nila.
I looked at the house in front of me when my driver left.
I was just standing in front of their gate. I can't find a doorbell, so I don't really know how I could call him.
I grabbed my phone and was about to text or call him when their front door unexpectedly opened.
My lips parted when I met a dark peircings' eyes that stared like a madman, just like Arthfael's eyes did when I first saw him at Viri's party. The only difference is that Arthfael's eyes are darker, whereas the eyes I'm looking at right now are softer.
The girl whose eyes I was staring at looked at me as if she was surprised. Her lips parted and she attempted to remove her glasses.
I had the opportunity to take a closer look at her. She's exactly like Arthfael's female version. Her height is probably around five-foot-one. She has Arthfael's flawless tanned skin. Her hair is a little curly, just like Arthfael's. Her hair falls just below her waist. She is wearing glasses and is dressed in a simple shirt and shorts.
"Kuya! Nandito na si Ate Maia!" She yelled after opening the gate wide for me.
She gave me a shy smile.
"Oh," I blinked and followed her. "Am I really that early?"
Why hadn't I thought to ask Arthfael what time I should go here?
