Epilogue
I only had two girls in my life before.
It's just my mother and Thessa.
Then Khaleesi came and they became three.
The three important girls that complete me. The three girls that I promised my father I would protect until the end of my life.
The lessons that my father taught me before he passed away, the words he said before he left, I always have them all in my mind.
I fell in love with one girl and will continue to fall in love with her.
I couldn't wait to finally marry her.
"So... What's our plan now?" Khaleesi asked while she was comfortably lying on her back on my shoulder.
I wrapped my hand around her waist and pulled her closer.
I miss this. I miss the feeling of having her in my arms.
Khaleesi didn't hesitate to close our space. She didn't hesitate to hug me back, as if she missed this too. I knew she did. We both did.
"We're engaged," I whispered to her happily.
She nodded.
"What's our plan after this?"
"To get married." I answered.
She looked up at me, and I smiled. I kissed her forehead and saw her close her eyes for a few seconds.
"My plan is to fulfill our dreams together before." I murmured. "Let's get married and start a family."
Khaleesi smiled. "You still haven't forgotten any of those dreams and promises?"
"Of course, love. I will never forget about that. " I answered.
She nodded. "Then let's get married."
I stared at her and waited for her to say more.
"Then let's start a family." She added "I still want to have a little you and a little me. I've envied Ivelise for years because she already has a child, whereas I broke up with you and don't know if you'll ever come back to me. I'm beyond happy that you did..."
My eyebrows arched, and my lips twitched a bit while looking at her pouting her lips.
"And what if I didn't come back?"
"I will not love anyone else other than you too." Sagot niya na mas lalo kong ikinatitig.
Khaleesi gave me a small smile again and held my hand. She slowly squeezed it.
"Kung hindi ka bumalik saakin, hindi rin ako magmamahal ng iba. Hindi ko rin gustong magmahal ng iba."
My heartbeats doubled. I'm very focused on hearing everything she wanted to say, and while doing that, my heart continues palpitating as if it's falling again. Again and again.
"Bakit naman pumasok sa isip mong hindi ako babalik sa 'yo? Hindi ba sa una pa lang naman bago ako umalis sinabi ko nang hindi ko kayang magmahal ng iba kung hindi ikaw?"
Malalim s'yang bumuntonghininga at tumango. "Nangako ka pero wala namang kasiguraduhan ang lahat, Arthfael."
"Then you don't trust my promise enough. I told you. I made a promise and kept it. No promises from me will be broken."
Tumango-tango s'ya at kinagat ang ibabang labi.
"Kahit gaano pa kalayo at kahit gaano pa katagal, palagi akong uuwi sa 'yo dahil ikaw ang tahanan ko."
