"This is so beautiful!" I looked breathtakingly at the art in the museum, Arthfael, and I went. "Can I take pictures?"

Arthfael put his hands in his pockets and nodded repeatedly.

"First time?" He beamed on me.

I nod my head. "Ikaw? Hindi mo first time?"

Umiling s'ya saakin at ngumiti. "Pumunta ka kami dito noon, 'e, field trip."

"Oh," I replied. "Dito pala nagpunta no'n? Noong field trip no'ng grade 8?"

"Hmm," tumango s'ya.

"I wish I had the courage to attend that field trip. I wasn't able to attend because there were too many students with us."

"Marami talagang tao no'n, may ibang school din."

Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko at t'yaka kinuhanan ng litrato ang ilang paintings na dinaanan namin. I was walking around with Arthfael following me.

I couldn't help but smile as I stood in front of a large painting of a tree. Even though it's just a tree, I know the painting conveys a lot of meaning. Painting is more than just an artist's art form. It's a work of art that evokes a wide range of emotions and meaning. A simple tree or a simple color combination means a lot to the artist who painted it.

I turned to face Arthfael. I was about to ask him if he could take a picture of me, but he was already doing it.

He was holding his phone when I looked at him. Nakatutok saakin ang cellphone niya at nakangiti s'ya habang nakatingin sa screen.

Nang makita niyang nakatingin na ako sa kanya ay bahagya niyang ibinaba ang hawak na cellphone.

"Do I look good there?" I asked, timidly, about the photos he took on his phone.

His lips parted a bit, and his cheeks flushed. "You always look good, Khaleesi."

Ngumuso ako at nag-iwas na ng tingin sa kanya. Tumabi s'ya saakin at sinabayan na akong maglakad. We're just roaming around the museum, taking pictures of the artwork we passed by.

Arthfael and I stopped by one of the most beautiful pieces of art in the museum. It was pasted on the wall and covered with a glass frame.

"Do you know the meaning of this painting?" An aged woman suddenly approached us.

Arthfael and I both looked at the middle-aged woman who was standing beside us, staring straight at the painting of two people sitting on the balcony, facing the calm sea and sunset.

The middle-aged woman looked at us. I was a bit startled by her presence, but I immediately recovered.

"The painting means pure love," she stated, while both Arthfael and I were staying quiet.

I took a glance at Arthfael, and I saw that he was smiling when he turned his gaze on me. The lady in front of us shifted her stand to face the painting.

"The artist painted this masterpiece as a symbol of pure and undying love. It was inspired by her late lover," she chortled.

"So there's a story behind this art?" I mumbled to myself.

She looked at me. She's actually wearing a very nice dress. She looked elegant, and her eyes were almost like mine. She stared so deeply.

"Every piece of art has a story, hija," she explained. "However, this is one of those works of art that is painted with a deep story behind it."

I looked at the painting again. I was trying to find out what more could be said about this painting. I wanted to know the story behind this. I got so curious for a second.
