3rd POV
"Alright! Listen up! We are heading to the Lawrence's. Last information states that she is there with Gregory. Our main task is to get her to safety unharmed. Lawrence wants to deal with him, so he must be left alive. We have to be unnoticeable and careful. Gregory is one sick son of a bitch and can't be underestimated. This is Amy we are talking about. So you know what that means." Grim informed his men.
Everyone nodded their heads.
"No rules. Get her out no matter what," Mount said, ready to spill some blood.
Tyler smirked at the thought. He knew Gregory would be dead by the end of the day. He would make sure of it. There was nothing anyone could say to stop him.
Grim nodded his head before Lawrence came to stand beside him.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"We are. What's the plan?" Grim asked.
"You'll come inside the property through east side. Gregory's room is on the other side of the house, so he won't know you are coming. But just to make sure, leave your bikes outside the property. They are loud and we do not want to take a chance. Your men will be placed around the property with my men. Three of you can come with me inside. We'll wait for Greg at my office. When he's secured, you'll go get Amy. My son comes to no harm. He is mine to deal with. You get your girl and get out. When this is over, I don't want to see you again. Your name is cleared, but I still don't like you." Lawrence grumbled. He was pissed about this situation and didn't know what to do. Should he just hand Gregory to Grim's gang? Then again, he was his only child. A son who stabbed him in the back.
"You heard the man! Let's move!" This time it was Hudson who gave the command. He didn't want to waste any second.
While Lawrence got their large SUVs, Grim and his man got on their bikes. Lawrence was right, they were loud. When 20 bikes got started, it shook the ground. People around got startled, and all stared at the 3 SUV cars and a gang on the bikes moving along the road. It was a sight not easily forgotten. That was for sure.
When they got to the property, bikes were left there, just like Lawrence said. They moved on foot. It was quite a walk, but if it meant getting Amabel out, it was worth every step.
The gang was separated and placed around the property. Grim, Hudson and Animus went with Lawrence.
Alex tried to argue. He wanted to go with them, but Grim ordered him to stay behind. He didn't understand why Animus was going, but not her own twin. He was nothing to Amy. She didn't want to see him. Alex didn't want her to see him. How could she be with someone like Animus? He was dangerous, with anger issues, cold, murderous bastard. To him, he might have been his best friend and someone he would trust his life on, but Animus was not a man for his baby sister.
"Alright, let's go." Lawrence motioned for the 3 bikers to come with him. He led them to his office.
"Bruce here will go get Gregory from his room. One of you'll go with him and hide while it happens. When they have left, you'll go in the room and get Amabel out. Gregory will be led here and confronted, but no one may touch him. Is this understood?" He looked around. Everyone nodded.
"I'll go get Amy," Animus said. Somehow, both Grim and Hudson already expected that. They knew he has fallen hard for their little devil's princess. Neither of them knew if they liked the idea of that, but there was nothing to be done. Amabel was a grown woman, after all.
"Very well. Bring my son to me." Lawrence went to the bar and poured himself a glass of whiskey and downed it in a one go before he sat down at his desk. He didn't offer a drink to anyone, but no one said a thing. All of their thoughts were somewhere else.
Animus' POV
I couldn't comprehend the thought of Amy being somewhere in this house with that son-of-a-bitch. If that bastard had hurt a single hair on her head, I would butcher him alive.
The guy led me through hallways to the second floor. This place was huge. Never understood why one would need or want to live in a place like this. Sure, it looked grand and all, but it missed the homely feeling a small place held.
"You stay here. I will go get Gregory. We'll go the other way, so you stay unnoticed. The girl will be in the room with a double door. You get her and get out of this place. Take her away from this property." Bruce instructed. I hated when I was told what to do by anyone other than Grim and Hudson. I hated being ordered in general. Still, I kept silent and nodded. It was no time to argue about some petty things. All that mattered was getting Amy out of here.
The guy went around the corner and I peaked. Like he said, there was a large double door. He knocked. I went back to hiding. Then I heard another knock. Finally, the door opened. I waited patiently.
"Gregory? Your father is expecting you in his office. It's urgent." I faintly heard Bruce speaking. After that I heard nothing. I waited for the door to close, but it didn't happen.
What is taking them so long? I was getting impatient and ready to just barge into that room and get this over with.
Then I heard running. Bruce hurried around the corner, back to me.
"They're gone. The guard who was monitoring them is dead inside the room," he gasped out.
I didn't wait for him to continue and ran to the room. I checked every corner and indeed, in the bathroom, there was a guy laying in a pool of blood with a cut throat.
Panic sat in.
"Amy?!" I called out repeatedly as I ran around the house like crazy, looking for her. But she was nowhere to be found. She was gone.
"No! Fuck!" I yelled from top of my lungs and threw the closest thing by me at that moment. The statue broke into pieces as it hit the ground hard.
"What the fuck is going on here!" Lawrence came with Grim and Hudson.
"Sir, Keith is dead in Gregory's room. The girl and Gregory are nowhere to be found. We checked everywhere," Bruce informed, out of breath.
"What?!" Hudson yelled in shock.
"Where could they have gone?" Grim asked Lawrence. Any trace of politeness was gone. This was war, and this time we would do things our way.
I will get you back baby, I swear it to my life.
