3rd POV

No one could believe their eyes. One moment they were chasing Greg's car, the next moment it was gone.

When the car started to jerk, their hearts skipped a beat, but when it drove over the edge and disappeared from their view, they stopped beating. It was like the worst nightmare came true.

Everyone rushed to the bridge and jumped off their motorcycles, leaving them where ever they fell. The only thing that mattered was to get Amabel. Hopefully alive.

First that rushed to look over the railing where the car fell was Animus. He was in pure panic. Revenge at Gregory didn't matter. Nothing did. He just needed to get to his love.

The sight made his stomach drop. The car was halfway under the water and kept sinking. He didn't hesitate and jumped into water. He didn't think about the possibility of hitting rocks or anything else.

"Amy." That was the only word on his mind.

The impact with the cold water was not soft, but the aching body was nothing compared to the fear he felt of losing Amy.

There was another loud splash in the water near him. Tyler looked to his left and saw Alex emerging from the water. Neither one of them said anything, just rushed to the sinking car.

The front was under water, so they dove in to look through windows. It was almost impossible to see anything, but then they saw it. Greg was slowly moving, his face covered in blood.

In the passenger seat was Mike, who was not moving. His head was bent at an odd angle and there was some kind of bump on one side of the neck. It was broken, and he was dead. That much was obvious.

Then there was Amabel, who was still on Mike's lap while the top of her body laid between the two front seats. She also was not moving.

Both Animus and Alex tried to open the door, but failed. Back door didn't budge either. They were running out of time. The car was sinking and filling with water.

With slight difficulty, Alex climbed on the trunk and took out his gun. He aimed to not hit Amabel and fired. Three times. He was so glad that they pay more to get military amo, otherwise the gun wouldn't work being under water.

The glass broke and Alex wasted no time to climb inside. The car was now filling a lot faster due to the missing window. Amy's head was under water.

Alex took her by the shoulders and pulled her up, hoping her back or neck wasn't broken and he didn't do more damage. Even if he did, this was the only way to save her.

He pulled her and then lifted her up. Animus had climbed on the trunk as well and reached for her, pulling the limp body out of the car.

In the distance, shouting could be heard. Hudson and Grim swam towards them. The stream wasn't strong, but surely they were moving towards a waterfall that was just about 800m away from them.

The rest of the people rushed along the shore to give a hand if needed.

Finally, Animus had Amy in his arms and off the car, swimming to the shore. It was difficult, but he tried his best.

Hudson reached them and helped the young man pull his daughter to the safety. Meanwhile, Grim swam to the car. The only part above the water were back lights, though they too disappeared from the sight a moment later. Last air bubbles popped and then nothing.

He didn't know what to do but to yell "Alex!"

At first nothing happened, but then he finally came out of the water, gasping for the air. Though he wasn't alone. Alex held tightly to the heavily breathing Gregory.

Grim felt the rage come back, but helped to bring him ashore, nonetheless.

When they reached the land, the rest of the guys helped them. Alex and Grim slowly stood up while Greg laid on the ground, groaning in pain.

His left hand was broken and so was his left leg. There was a huge gash on the left side of his head as well.

Animus had laid down Anabel slowly and was checking for any wounds, but found nothing too serious. Just a bruised cheek, cuts on her face and hands. But this didn't mean there was no internal damage. When he glanced at Alex, he jumped up and ran his way.

"Why the hell did you pull that son of a bitch out?" He yelled. Right before he could reach Greg, Grim stopped him by grabbing him from behind.

"Calm the fuck down!" The head of the motorcycle gang ordered, but his step son was gone. He wanted blood.

"You should have left him to die. That mother fucker! I'll kill him!" Grim had difficulty holding Animus, so Tank came to help.

"He will pay and he will die, but not so easily as drown. He will suffer first," Alex growled while glaring at the youngest Lawrence. It was tempting to leave him in that car, but the thirst for revenge was greater.

"Lawrence is here. He won't let us do what we want. It will have to wait," Grim informed while looking in the direction Bradley was coming from.

"No, I'll kill him right now!" Animus yelled, still trying to get to Greg.

"Be patient, Tyler. You'll have your chance. I promise." Grim whispered in Animus' ear.

"Gregory?" Lawrence rushed to his son. He couldn't help but to feel worry. Even after everything that took place, Greg was his son. His only child.

"Argh!" Animus yelled out in frustration, but when was let free went to Amabel, who still was not moving.

"She's breathing. We have to get her to the hospital. I already called Travis. He'll prepare everything for her arrival, no questions asked. But we have to hurry." Hudson carefully gathered his limp daughter in his arms.

"I'll take one of your cars. And I'm not asking. Merely informing," Hudson said in a low growl as he went by Lawrence, who kneeled by his son's side. Animus and Alex following close by.

"Of course." The man nodded. He owed them that much. This was all Greg's fault, after all. That, though, reminded him of what had happened.

"I'll be in touch with you, Grim. But Gregory will come with me. I will deal with him myself," Lawrence looked at Grim.

"You know we will come for blood. What he has done..." Grim pulled his hands into fists. "We won't forget it. My every man loves that girl and they will want justice. Our justice. I hope you understand that."

"Unfortunately I do. But he is also my son. That's why I'll be in touch with you," Lawrence said. This situation was delicate. If he didn't act smart, it would cost everything. He didn't want to go at war with Grim and his gang. Though more powerful, he would never underestimate Grim anymore. That man was very dangerous, even if he didn't believe this himself. Lawrence and Grim were equally strong, though in their own way. That's why if a war broke out between them, the outcome would be catastrophic for both.

"You better." Grim then spat at Gregory. "Let's go!" Then he ordered his man and left to go to their Devil's Little Princess.
