"Ma'am, dinner is ready na po. Kayo na lamang pong hinihintay sa baba." Tawag sa akin ng katiwala nina Mamita sabay katok sa pinto.

"Ah Opo Manang, baba na po ako." Tugon ko lamang at isinara na ang laptop na kanina ko pa kaharap.

It's been days since Dad came back and tama si Forr, he is the glue of their family who has the ability to put their family together. Now nakatira na kami sa iisang bahay.

Ayaw sana naming iwanan ang condo but he insisted na umuwi na kami at tumira sa mansion.

Now mas duble pa ang ginagawa naming pag-iingat at pagpapanggap ni Forr dahil mula work hanggang bahay ay may mga matang nakamasid sa amin. We're just like actors in front of cameras and directors.

"So how was it going in your post as the new department of finance head?”biglang tanong sa akin ni Dad sa kalagitnaan ng dinner. Ngumiti lamang ako sa kanya bago sumagot.

“oh well Dad, it’s all fine so far.”

“What about the thing I asked you to do?”

“Ah yes, I looked into it Dad. I just preside a meeting with the finance managers and discussed about the hospital’s status this morning. I have reviewed every material they had presented and I didn’t see anything odd.”tuloy tuloy kong saad nung ngumisi siya.

“hmm, and how are you so sure about it?” he said intriguingly. Lumunok muna ako bago ko siya tingnan.

“Well Dad, I had them investigated before holding a meeting to see if the data they showed me matched the data thag my team have gathered in our investigation. That way I could find out who’s the mole in DOF but it seems Director Sanchez have not yet penetrated the department, wala pa  po siyang tauhan sa loob.” I confidently said.

Tumango siya bago ngumiti. “Okay good. At least I didn’t make a huge mistake in installing you as the new head of DOF.” He asserted. I just smiled at tiningnan si Forr who is beside me. He just gave me a little thumbs up and a smile at kumain na din.
Napansin pala iyun ni Mamita.

“hmm, look at this love birds in front of me. You’re all so sweet but when on earth you’ll give me another grandchild. “ She said na kunwaring nagtatampo dahilan para masamid ako.

“You okay?” Agad namang baling sa akin ni Forr touching my back.

“O-okay lang ako.” Nakangiti kong baling sa kanya.

“Ma, they are too busy with work, besides they just got married.” Sabat naman ni Dad sa kanyang ina.

“That’s exactly my point. They just got married but always busy with work, baka naman mapabayaan na nila ang romantic relationship nila. How can they build their affection for each other stronger kung puro sila trabaho, they should make time for each other dapat. Isa pa, since they’re always busy with their work, hindi na nila masyadong nakakasama si Aiyen and she’s sad, dapat bigyan niyo na siya ng kapatid.” Mahabang saad ni Mamita dahilan para mapangisi kami.

“Uhm, I have a perfect idea. Here.” Nakangiti niyang muling saad giving us a white envelope.

“What is this Mamita?” Forr asked curiously as he grabbed  it.

“My Amiga and I have met in Paris last week during my vacation and she gave this gift since she’s an owner of a high class wide resort in Siargao. Ayuko naman ng pumunta jan kasi wala naman akong gagawin jan sa tanda kong ito. Naisip ko kayo na lamang ang pumunta since weekend na bukas. You can stay there for two days, it’s a romantic place for you to make another apo for me.” Nasamid muli ako dahil doon maging si Forr dahilan para mabasa ang polo niya ng bahagya ng juice na iinumin niya sana.
