You stared at the pregnancy test and it was positive. Tears welled up in your eyes.
Cedric was almost home from work. He was a Auror in the Ministry of Magic, working alongside his father while you worked along your father.
"Honey. I'm home!" you heard his voice from downstairs.
You had also finished cooking dinner and made a birthday cake for him.
"Hey, honey." you smiled, placing two plates of food on the table.
"It smells great." he sat down across from you.

"Honey. I have something important to tell you." you said.
He looked at you, "What is it?"
You slowly pulled the pregnancy test out and handed it to him.
As he looked at it, tears started streaming down his face, "Ar-Are you serious?" he asked, getting up from his chair.
You nodded and he pulled you in for a hug, "We're going to have a baby." he started to cry along with you.
His hands gently rest on your cheeks and he pressed his lips against yours.
"I promise that I'll be the best dad for our child." he smiled.
