Ch. 10: Love Letters

5th year has finally started and you were on the train with Cedric and the golden trio. You told them about your owl Celeste and about how she already likes you.

"When she perches on my shoulder, she makes these cute little chirping sounds." You told them.

The train pulled in and you got your belongings and got off of the train.

Celeste was perched on your shoulder as she looked around curiously and Cedric walked with you to the carriages and you got on along with him and the trio.

"She's so adorable." Hermione cooed to Celeste and pet her head.

The carriages pulled off and took you to the castle. As they pulled in, you asked your friends, "Do you want to see a trick that Celeste learned over the summer break?" and they nodded and you quickly got out of the carriage.

You all walked to the Courtyard and had Celeste perch on Hermione's shoulder. You told Hermione to stay right where she was and stood a couple yards away from her and pulled out a small treat that were Celeste's favorite.

You held the treat out and called for Celeste and she flew over to you and perched on your arm and ate the treat. "That was amazing!" Hermione said with excitement. "Blimey! That was impressive!" Harry exclaimed. Hermione walked over and pet Celeste's head. You heard little chirps as your friends were petting her and that was a sign that she was happy.

"Well if it isn't Miss Diggory!" You looked over and saw Pansy. "I see you've got a new pet, (y/n)." she taunted as she walked over to you. "Shove off Parkinson!" Hermione stood beside you. "Relax Granger! I won't hurt her, for now at least." Pansy walked up to you. "Well who's this cutey?" she asked as she reached her hand out to pet Celeste.

Celeste screeched at Pansy, causing her to scream and jump back. You and your friends laughed and you smirked, "You act so tough yet you got spooked by an owl." Pansy glared at you and replied, "I'll get you for this." and she stormed off.

Cedric walked over to you and kissed your cheek and said, "You're cute." He pet Percy who was perching on his shoulder and he chirped as Cedric was petting his head. You reached your hand out to pet him and he chirped.

At dinner, Cedric was being silly and tried to feed you like a baby. You kept your mouth shut when he tried to shove food in your mouth.

"Come on ,(y/n)! Say aaahhhhhh."

Right when Cedric said that, you shoved some food in his mouth and bursted out laughing along with your friends.

"Awww! Who's the baby now?" you asked, laughing.

Cedric made a cute pouty face and swallowed the food and replied, "I'm your baby though."

You playfully hit his shoulder when he said that and kissed his cheek, "Yeah, but you're not a baby, you're a man." His eyes lit up with pride when you said that and you added, "A very handsome and tall man that is." and He smiled and hugged you tightly. Hermione and Ginny cooed, "Awwww! What a cute couple they are!" and you blushed.

"Get a room you two!" Fred and George were sitting next to you. You playfully hit Fred in the chest and you and your friends were all laughing so much.
