👏Sibling👏Love👏 (Epik sequel.)
I like everyone equally down here but some are just really weird and creepy, like Lang for example. I peeked my head out of the gardens bushes and looked out the window as I saw Lang and Catte walking out together, it sounded like they were killing each other not gonna lie. I can always tell when someone finds another then more as a friend, or best friend, or best best friend. Like love friend and it's weird for me to be saying that with my lonely a^^, I never actually find interest in someone like that but a lot of people down here don't at least that I know of. I hear a few doors open beside me and perk my head up to see Figs coming in while drinking a soda, they looked over to me before completely walking in.
"What are you doing?" They asked while raising a brow at me.
"Hiding from Lang." I say shifting myself out of the bushes and stretching my limbs.
"Lang was here? Why?" Figs said while taking another sip of their soda and stepping inside of the garden, relaxing on one of the pillows and leaning against the tree. I cringed a bit.
"Not important right now..." I brush my arm over with my paw. I didn't really want to get into Lang's death stare habits, Figs is smart anyway they probably already know. I walk over to them and sit beside them with a sigh my ears slightly bending timidly.
"Something on your mind? Or do you just want attention?" Figs teased as they nudged me with they're shoulder. I give them a glare, to be honest they were kind of right I did have a question to ask them but at the same time I just wanted they're attention before they leave me alone here again.
"Yeah actually..." I mumbled while curling my fingers around each other nervously. Looking down to the soft blades of grass. Figs raised a brow.
"Well?" They raised a brow and lifted they're soda to take another sip. Here goes nothing.
"How do I find love?" I asked. Figs spit out the remaining fluids in their mouth and began coughing uncontrollably while leaning over.
"OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OK!??!?" I rush over to them and begin patting they're back lightly.
"Ugh yeah I'm fine.." They said and coughed a bit before wiping they're mouth. I didn't expect that for an answer.
"Did I say something wrong?" I asked while still rubbing circles around they're back.
"What?- No! I just wasn't excepting that." Figs said dryly as they slumped their back against the tree once again. I smiled slightly.
"So can you answer my question then?" I said shuffling closer to them. they nervously narrowed their eyes away from me and made a small hissing noise as they inhaled with their teeth bared.
"Well I don't really "love" anyone myself, so I'm not the one to ask." They said as they brought their knees up to their chest. Well that's a whole lie. Who are they going out to meet every single morning?
"Yeah you do." I retorted. Glaring at them sternly as they looked back at me in shock.
"No I don't?" Figs looked a lot less relaxed then they did before, what a liar.
"Then who do you go out to talk to every morning?" I reposition myself to be sitting on my knees while still giving them an ugly stare.
"A friend." Figs said while bristling their fluffy hair with a paw. I thought for a few seconds and looked out the window to see Shade, didn't they talk with Figs like all the time?
"Why don't you just admit Shade is your boyfriend?" I said with question rather then a judgingly tone. They whipped their head to the window as Shade waved at us both, Figs squealed and forced the both of us down to the grass.
"HEY-"
"SHUT UP!" They put a paw over my mouth and peeked out the window before sighing in relief. I forced myself back up and looked at them, they were really mooning over Shades.
"I was right!" I said cheerfully. Silence began to fill the room as Figs stared at the window, their face expressions changing from love to sadness as they stepped away from the window and sat on the other side of the tree with a sigh.
"Love is... A lot of things. It's when you like someone more then a friend, you want to be with them forever and share everything with them. You care for them deeply and you trust them with everything you have, even though they may not like you the same way you still try." They explained. That made me wonder, did they're lover not like them back? Did they treat Figs wrong? If they did I'll punch them in the gut. I then thought of something to lighten the mood as I scooched over to them.
"Are we friends Figs?" I asked while giving them a smile. Figs looked at me in rather disbelief before looking back down.
"No..." They mumbled. That got me a little sad... I thought we were friends.. I suddenly felt Figs hug me.
"Were brothers!" They said. They're tone sounded a lot more cheerful. I hugged them back and smiled, I didn't really know what that meant either but it's whatever I guess. It means something better then friend and I like it!
"Your probably adopted though."
"FIGS!"
I'm cringing so hard, I hope you liked it though. 2 new chapters tomorrow maybe.
