Panther x Figs
"Sudden disturbances within the power grid"
"Unable to initiate low power outage mode."
"Please stand by..."
A bit of a struggle could be heard from the garden, a mix of crashing and loud roars coming from the inside.
Two humans pushed through the slowly opening door, pushing their hands in between them and pushing them open before rushing out in a panic. Another roar could be heard as one of the humans tripped. A blur could be seen flying out of the garden and hitting the wall across from it, low growls emitting from the source. Blood trickled down it's jaw and painted it's arms and legs. The petrified humans turned to the dark figure in fear, almost instantly being leapt onto and pinned by the shoulders.
"Wait please! I'm sorry ok?!" They pleaded. The 'beast' only tightened it's grip on their shoulders, drawing a bit of blood. It panted heavily, it's chest heaving at a quick pace as it struggled to regain it self.
"No you aren't..." It barely managed to speak. The humans heart raced as they only panicked more. The figure perked up, finally being able to control it self and look them in the eye.
"If you were you wouldn't keep coming back!" They screeched, the blood from their jaw dropping onto the face of the human who was frozen and speechless. Silence engulfed the both of them, the heaving sounds of the monster was the only thing stopping them from being completely submerged in it. It curled it's lip and snarled, gripping the humans shoulders and dragging their talons down their arms before diving it's head towards their neck.
"That's enough!" A voice chimed in to the humans agonizing screams. The figure looked back, eyes filled with pure rage before the voice was fully recognizable. It was Figs, oddly unfazed at the sight beheld. His face slightly scrunched up out of disgust.
"Please... Don't murder people outside of my home." He muttered. The beast chuffed and looked back at the human, gaping it's jaw once again and attempting to bite into their skull.
"Panther!" He shouted, determined to get his attention. Although he didn't look back, Figs knew he had it. The feline kept their eyes on the human for a few moments, watching as it began squirming to get away from his grip. He only watched as the human tore open it's own wounds, amused as the blood leaked down his arms and onto the ground below. Panting and whimpering out of fear and exhaustion. He grinned. Lowering his maw down to ear level.
"Your so lucky..." He whispered before pulling his claws out of them and standing straight. The human frantically scrambled to it's feet and ran away, a large trail of blood following behind them as they went into the safe zones direction. The both of them knew the human would get urgent care the moment they saw him mangled up like that, but even that would be able to save him. Panther looked towards Figs, who still had their eyes in the direction of where they had ran.
"I don't know why I let them go." He began, Figs looking up at him with a brow raised.
"He's just going to bleed out." He sighed and crossed his arms, looking downwards before shutting his eyes.
"I'm aware, I just don't want you to make a mess outside of the garden." He said, looking out the large window that displayed the entire garden. Most importantly the tree.
"It'll give us a bad reputation." Panther took Figs by the paw(?) and licked the blood off of his cheek.
"I would've eaten the body." He responded. Figs didn't care for much of that. If people knew that they were murdering people in this place they'd surely put a bounty on both of their heads, even though it was all in self defense. Or in the trees defense to be precise. Panther suddenly took both of his paws, Figs face of confusion quickly wiped away by his licks. He didn't make any attempt to pull away from him. Even though he was just grooming his face, this would always soothe him and make him feel more relaxed.
"Your face is covered in blood.." He muttered softly before continuing to lick him above his head. Figs leaned onto his chest with a long sigh, sliding his paws out of Panther's and wrapping his arms around him.
"I'll get it my self, let's just go back inside." He replied. Panther pulled his head away, temporarily pausing his licks. He pushed a paw under Fig's chin and forced him to look up at him.
"That'd be a waste." He said in a whisper. Of course, he just wanted to taste the blood on his face. Why was he surprised? Figs giggled and pulled his head away, sliding it under his arm and leaning on his chest once again. He nuzzled his chest fluff with a soft purr. Panther just smiled down at him, he wasn't to sure about going back inside of the garden just yet. This blackout would surely last a while. In his point of view, they had enough time to loop the facility a few times if they wanted to. But he had something else in mind.
"We can go back later, come on." He whispered again. Before he had the chance to respond Panther quickly snatched him from the ground, carrying him bridal style. Figs frowned, pushing his muzzle away witch was dangerously close to his face again.
"You know we'd be leaving the tree unprotected, right?" Panther scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"I'm serious! Who knows what could happen while were gone?" This annoyed him, he had offered to protect the tree a few times so he could get close to Figs. Now that they were together though it just felt like a responsibility.
"Fine." He said with a slight scowl. He held Figs close to him and angrily stormed back into the garden. He overturned the multiple bodies and blood stains scattered across the ground, he was almost surprised that they had managed to kill this many. It's not like murder isn't something he does daily now though. He waltzed over to the tree and roughly dropped Figs onto it. He was shocked at the sudden move, looking up at Panther with his lip curled into a snarl.
"What's up with you?" He questioned with a hint of attitude. He didn't want to scold him for being upset about the current situation, they barely got enough time to themselves so he wasn't surprised that he got a bit sick of it. Panther didn't respond to him, he just grinned and sat on his knees. The two just stared at each other now, both questioning what move they were going to make prior to this moment. Especially Figs, who was flustered by the sudden action. Despite this neither of them broke eye contact with each other. Just one staring at the other made them feel they were challenging them to keep the tension from breaking. So they didn't, they just sat in utter silence. One of them shifting every now and then or inching closer to the other. After what felt like forever Panther finally decided to move, crawling in between his legs and hovering his muzzle over his. Figs blushed again, beginning to protest before he began grooming his face again. This time he moved it down to his neck fur, continuing this loop for some time before pulling away and looking at him.
"Why...?" Figs asked. Panther chuckled in response.
"Do you care?" He responded to his question... With another question. Figs considered it for a moment. It's not like he minded the licking at all, it was actually very much needed after the 10 minutes of pure tension. He was just... Confused.
"I guess not." He said. Panther just continued licking him, he assumed he had already given him self the answer.
He decided it'd be best to enjoy this moment while it lasted instead of asking meaningless questions, That's probably all the feline wanted from the start.
This one is hella long and I'm not as proud of it as I was the last one. I feel like you guys will enjoy it though.
