Dark Protogen x Nuclear Rabbit

Just a random ship I came up with in my empty head space and neediness to write.

It was just like any other day in the support caves, dark, empty, and boring. At least that's how most of the goos would describe it, mainly because they didn't like the area at all. Especially the two that resided within it. Which would of course be Nuclear and Toxic rabbit. Their presence weren't as shunned as Witchbrews was, but they were still quite the annoyance at times. They didn't pull pranks or nag at people like he did, but they somehow still found a way to piss people off. As of right now though? They were sitting dormant in the library. They considered this place home since it was in their territory and often went there to sleep and such.

Toxic was sitting on the floor next to a book shelf. He was repeatedly pulling random books off of it and tearing the pages out, not even bothering to read them before he did so. Nuclear was resting next to the fire places. He wasn't even on the couch... He was just sleeping on the floor. Toxic, having noticed this a while ago, decided to mess with him a little bit. A sinister grin widened on his face as he tore another page from the book he had in his paws, crumpling it into a ball and throwing it in his brothers direction

It missed, and he pouted about it for a few moments. He eventually decided to try again, crumpling another piece of paper and throwing it. This time it hit his face, instantly waking him from his slumber. He exclaimed loudly.

"AGH! WHAT THE FUCK!" He shouted. Toxic just rolled his eyes. He hadn't brought any harm to Nuclear, he was just being dramatic. He let out a small giggle as his brother recovered from it. Nuclear eventually caught notice of the crumpled sheet of paper sitting right next to him, looking up at Toxic with a scowl. Toxic was quick to quiet him self when he saw his gaze, turning back to his book and acting as if he was reading it, the messy piles of papers not really helping his case.

"Toxic! Get your green ass over here!" He shouted. Despite his words, he confronted the rabbit him self. Toxic ignored this, bringing the book up to silence his laughter. Nuclear diffidently wasn't seeing the funny side of this.

"I know you threw that at me!" He said, kicking the other onto his side, a hurricane of papers scattered around on impact. Toxic flailed around for a short second before scrambling to his feet, turning to face Nuclear.

"Stop being a bitch! It was just paper!" He protested. Nuclear wasn't taking it very seriously. Snickering at the paper sticking to his spiky and messy fur. He tilted his head at this.

"You look pathetic." He teased, not bothered to hold his laughter any longer. Toxic took notice of the paper sticking to him and quickly brushed it off. Tending to his fur with licks afterwards. His brother just pointed and laughed at him the entire time, wheezing every now and then. He growled at this, punching Nuclear on the shoulder one good time, he stood unaffected.

"It's not that funny!" Toxic whined. Nuclear simply brushed it off, waving his free paw in his face.

"Yeah, yeah, alright. Since you've woken me, I guess I'll go and do something productive." He looked him up and down. "Unlike you.." He added, wheezing once again and walking past him. Toxic rolled his eyes again.

This was just the everyday life for the two of them. Although they didn't spend all of their free time together, they still valued their relationship. It just wasn't the same when the two of them were apart. Toxic especially couldn't stand the few times they weren't together.

All of a sudden, just as Nuclear was about to exit the library, the sound of a distant door opening was heard from below. He perked up, his ears standing as tall as they possibly could.
