It was like any normal day down here, gootraxian vs human. Like any other of course. I didn't really like fighting very often, I didn't want to get targeted or trapped somewhere like everyone else like they supposedly wanted to. I tried making peace a few times in the past but everyone just turns me down and becomes judgmental, they call me a human smuggler! The power suddenly went out caves isn't a very good place to be at the moment with all the caution and speed I had I made a hasty retreat through the human area and ran through it, running into the shark pools. I stay here sometimes it's usually calm when a bunch of humans aren't chasing 1 person with guns and rifles. I decided to take a step into the water to cool myself off as I heard the war going on just on the other side of the doors, I sighed and let those thoughts slip away as I closed my eyes and relaxed for once in a while when all of the sudden....
I hear splashing? Why would someone be here at this time? I opened my eyes to see a shork but pink? I shouted and fell back into the shallow water before quickly hauling myself up again.
"Are you alright?" The shark was deep into the water somehow, it raised a brow while staring at me.
"Me?..." I asked them while pointing at myself.
"Yes you!" The shark pulled themselves out of the water to sit next to me. This is defying every law I have ever read in this place.
"Uhhh yeah, how did you do that?" I shuffle away from them as a sweat runs down my forehead.
"Dooooo what?" They titled they're head and got closer to me.
"Go under the water like that, aren't these waters shallow?" I pressed my hand down onto the floor that we were literally sitting on, it was getting kind of chilly since some of my fur was soaked.
"Pssh. No? Have you ever seen a shark before?" They laughed at me while nudging my shoulder with they're paw. I didn't find it that offending because now that I recall, I actually haven't seen one in some time. Ever since my transfur incident at least.
"OHHHH! Why don't I show you something cool!" They jumped up while splashing around a bit.
"Errr. Ok??" I bend my ears timidly, why am I even trusting this guy? They took they're hand out and stared at me expectantly, as if they wanted me to take it. With a bit of hesitation I took they're hand, with a few hops up and down in excitement they had they jumped up and somehow dived under the water. Taking me with them.... I began to panic while flailing around in they're arms as they stopped a bit deep into the water before looking towards me.
"Is this not normal for you guys?" The shark asked while letting go of my hand as I began to slowly float into the darkness of the bottom, with a quite muffled and yet almost silent yelp I shook my head violently. I was starting to run out of air!
"Oh..." The shark looked away nervously before diving down to grab me by my hip and swim back up to the surface. With a gasp of relief I quickly made my way to the very edge of the pool against the stairs railing, my body was shaking from fear and I was also freezing cold as I clung onto the wall for dear life!
"Sorry.." They swam towards me with a face up concern. I felt like if they even touched me I'd start spiraling under the water to never be seen again, I pushed myself against the wall and squinted my eyes with a whimper.
"Hey it's ok! It doesn't do it unless I want it to. See?" The wrapped they're arms around me in a warm embrace of a hug but not all that warm, At least I wasn't drowning though right? I leaned into them as they came to sit along the railing next to me. I looked up at them and surprisingly enough they put they're muzzle against mine with a large smile, it didn't bother me much really I only replied with a startled squeak before relaxing again.
"Soooo can you forgive me?" They said nervously.
"No..." I weakly mumbled.
!I hope this was goods, I promise I wasn't rushing I just got excited for my first request lol. This was very fun to write nonetheless!
