I wasn't planning on doing this ship since done everyone does it but @Jammerthefriendly Had requested it and now I'm forced to 😦. I do hope you enjoy this though.

It was about time I woke up in pitch black darkness. 

I flickered my eyes open and yawned, hauling myself up and sliding my arms across the floor in an attempt to stretch them. They still felt a little soar but I guess it's my fault for sleeping on the ground. I looked around and soon come to realize I was lying it sector rooms under one of the tables. I adjusted my headphones before bending over and crawling out from under the table with my eyes lightly squinted closed as I inspected myself, a blue outline following my body wherever I went as a swayed my arm around before looking behind me and at my tail. Blackout, I probably should have known that due to my dark surrounding other then the purple shades that lingered in one of the rooms. I put a paw over my shoulder before walking out of the room and down the dark hall of course no one was there, it was very rare for anyone to do so since the place had been abandoned after the break out but I see people wander around the area collecting stuff that had been left behind when I'm trying to get some shut eye. As I walked through yet another door frame I see Dark protogen keeping they're head down as they constantly peeked out a few times, well that's probably going to be the weirdest thing I see all night. I walk up to them slowly but quickly quickened my pace when I saw how frantic they are.

"What are you doing?" I question as I tap they're shoulder. They flailed they're hand back and pushed me away before looking at me.

"Rude-"

"Shut up." They cut me off before looking back quickly and sighing in relief and glared at me.

"What do you want huh?" They said in a snarly tone as they stared at me. I was only just coming back to reality trying to find out what they were so jumpy about.

"I just wanted to know what you were freaking out about.." I stuttered a bit while rubbing my paw with the other as I looked down the dark hall nervously, if there were anything creeping down there I needed to know otherwise I was gonna have a heart attack.

"Well I was trying to kill some humans when all of the sudden lord and savior Buck comes in to protect they're a$$es. What a let down." They said as they wiped a paw against their 'face'.

"Wait Buck? Did they follow you?" I asked a bit shakily, Buck was diffidently out for me I just knew it! They only chuckled to themselves before looking back up at me with a smirk wide across their visor.

"I'm pretty sure they did, but I can never be to sure." They teased as they shrugged their shoulders. Even though I knew dark protogen was always out to scare everyone in the facility I didn't want to really take my chances with Buck.... Without a word I turned the other way and quickly headed back down the hall I had came from.

"You might wanna rush! The thing could be anywhere!" They called after me with a hint of laughter. Growing anxious and weary of my surroundings all of a sudden I grabbed the tip of my ears and flattened them against my head while trying to tune out their terrible warnings about Buck. My walk soon turned into a small run as I headed back down and was now looking at the glass tank that held a grass covered area and a few small trees with a large one in the middle, trying to put my mind on something else I started to think if there were any gootraxians awaiting for a host that we never knew of. I'd be glad this place were abandoned if there really were otherwise the humans would do some stupid tests on them to test their ability's and somewhat use them for their own protection or aid. I sighed in relief as I had finally started to calm down but it didn't last very long when I saw a purple glow blurring from the other side of the glass, I jolted and I was about to run in panic before it quickly changed to colors like red, blue, yellow. Rainbow to be exact. It's not like anything I had seen before if were excluding the rainbow pups that are rarely ever seen around the facility it looked nice as it faded to different colors almost hypnotizing, I started to get curious before realizing this could be a trap the humans had set up for gootraxians since some of them just stop and stare at bright colors. Like my pathetic self. In a quick thought to retreat I suddenly heard humming from the other side my ears perking up as I was suddenly forced to listen, if this was really a trap then the humans must be a lot more clever then I thought they were. I took a few steps closer to the glass and presumably the rainbow glow I leaned against it and continued to listen to the humming that could put anyone to sleep as I looked closer at it the rainbow glow not only got brighter but it began to look like the outlines of a person. A gootraxian! I wasn't sure if I could fully trust it though but there was only one way that I could. Some classic one on one socialization. There wasn't really a way to stir up a conversation without this guy thinking I was a creep or getting freaked out so I raised my paw, sharpened my claws, and then reluctantly tapped on the glass. I heard the voice squeak in surprise before giggling at the noise it made which brought the smallest of smiles to my face. I see the figure lower itself and give full attention to the glow I presumably thought was mine.
