Another day of work. Although I don't have to I like to make the food for everyone at the cafeteria of course with my assistant Mochi it wasn't so hard. Adding on to the fact that most gootraxians down here eat meat or they're cannibals, gross, but I try not to judge often.

Out of boredom I lean over the counter and look at the cafe tables. There weren't a lot of people here just a bunch of slime pups looking for something to eat that I laid out on the tables since there were so many that came in every day. I began to hear scratching just below me and looked down to see a small slime pup that was scratching the wall and looking up at me, probably wanted an Ice cream.. I nodded and pushed my self back over the counter to look at Mochi.

"Hey Mochi, do we still have any ice cream left?" I asked. Mochi looked to me then at the fridge and groaned.

"No." They sneered while dropping the box they were holding in their hands, most likely filled with dog treats.

"Do you mind getting some from the freezer?" I said. I leaned back over the counter and held up a finger to them, signaling them that their order might take a while. The slime pup tilted their head before walking away to sit at one of the tables, Mochi suddenly leapt over the counter and puffed up their fur.

"Nope. I'm on break." They said while stretching their arms, holding them up in the air. I look at the clock that was placed just above me and back to them.

"Oh come on! It's only one minute passed! Surely you can just get me a box of ice cream." I pleaded while holding my hands out. Mochi shook their head and flailed their wings a bit before walking to the exit of the cafe. I sighed, whos going to watch the shop while I'm gone trying to get this ice cream now? Sometimes I wish I had a different partner. I walked over to the small opening space that allowed us to exit from the counter and started for the freezer with a yawn. I slowly open the door and prop it open with a large metal box we kept around the area and looked up and down the shelves before spotting a box at the top that was written in Ice cream and popsicles. I climb up there and slide behind the box, pushing it from behind and causing it to fall off of the top hopefully it didn't crush the popsicle sticks or ruin the Ice cream and smudge it all over the wrapper from the inside. One can hope I guess. I picked it up and walked out of the freezer closing the door with a small kick and heading back to the food booth before I started hearing things, as if someone was inside and picking up stuff. I scoff and drop the box slowly heading over to the booth with no cares.

"I know it's you Mochi." I hiss. It went silent for a second before the noises soon continued, crunching, gripping, most likely smashing. I lower me ears timidly and quickly grab a broom that was propped against a shelf before crouching down and nearing the counter when I was close enough I looked around the corner to see a Nightcrawler settled on my shelf and eating a bunch of things from the left over boxes we'd put food in, my face wrinkled in disgust but also anger as I bared my teeth and ran towards it before hitting it with the broom. Terrified and startled, it screeched before bouncing off of the wall and on top of me as the shelf began to rock back and fourth. I yelped and jumped up pushing the shelf back against the wall with a sigh of relief. My ears pin against my head as my pupils turn into daggers, I pick up the broom and look back to the Nightcrawler that was now sticking to the wall and nearing the fridge that had some pizza laid above. I wack it's paw.

"No!" I shout while flailing the broom at it. The Nightcrawler hissed and snatched it's paw back, rubbing around it's wrist before looking back at me with a heated face. I gulp and take a few steps back but before I could get away from it the thing lunged at me and threw me against the wall, it's force strong enough that some glass broke around me. I gripped onto my side with an eye squinted shut.
