So far so good, at least I thought so. 

The blackout recently ended and the halls around the facility were now more civilized and calm, although everyone would still attack everyone they saw whether human or gootraxian. Meanwhile I hid my self deep into the caves while awaiting for another blackout I'm not the only one that hid away after a blackout ended. Some others will stay out but majority would hide or sleep until the next one I can see why it's so chaotic now, the number of gootraxians greatly increase and the shields power completely goes off. I started to grow a bit bored and stood up to wander around the caves for someone to ambush or just something to eat before I found my self at one of those large garage like doors that are controlled by one measly button, if I'm correct there 2 of these both of them are somewhat different since one doesn't have a button on one of it's side causing others to use it for a retreat when needed. I was about to slip through the vent when I heard someone's voice inside I listened closely to what they were saying and they were talking about another gootraxian that I have never heard of before, a very dark grey pelt and red eyes with strange yellow pupils that wandered around the facility in search of something to kill 24/7. It sounded scary to say the least since they mentioned that the thing ate pups sometimes and that it's eyes would rarely bleed red I didn't want to hear much more about this monster like gootraxian so I slipped through the vent with a growl and they both looked at me with fear in their eyes as they hoped off of the couches and cowered against the wall. These two were obviously unarmed as I inspected them for any weapons as fatal as gun, they weren't even carrying bats! A smirk widened across my face as I slowly neared them one of the men begging for their life as they hid against the other. Just when I was about to attack I heard the door open behind me before I could even look I get slashed on my side and thrown into the wall the other two humans were in.

"Bug off you little pest!" They shout as they stand in defense over the others. I look up to them slowly to see that I had been hit with a scythe by another human armored in a hazmat, I could already tell that I was badly injured but I didn't bother with it. If I could get enough goo on this persons hazmat they would be transfurred! I just need to avoid that scythe... I bare my teeth and jump at them ducking over their swing and pushing them down by the stomach I scratched them just above the eye and threw them out of the room into another door that slowly opened upon seeing the movement. I saw their weapon slide across the floor and into another direction far from their reach, he reached over to grab it while holding their eye and glancing at me every few seconds. I quickly ran at them on all fours with no care since they were now unarmed, at least I thought they were... The man quickly sits up and grabs something from their waist before pulling out a gun and shooting it directly at my eye, the sharp pain causing me to lose my balance and trip before rolling onto the ground as they quickly moved out of the way. Everything had happened so fast that I was only just now feeling the unbearable pain in my eye and screaming to the top of my lung while curling my self into a ball. I couldn't hear anything but ringing and muffled voices and I could barely see, am I dying? I can't even thing straight anymore. Everything hurts... I could feel someone kick me and I looked up with my one good eye as the three humans looked down with angered faces. I quickly stood up and limped away but I didn't get very far before I collapsed just before I managed to get to the caves I could feel sharp pains running along my body every few seconds, I tried to take deep breaths but it only got worst as I started weeping on the ground my body shaking in fear. I suddenly heard noises from above me as if someone was walking near they got louder and louder until they stopped just in front of me. Fearing that it could be someone I didn't have nice history with or just another human I jolted up and pushed my self against the wall while slightly sitting up and looking at them while panting heavily.

"Jesus christ, are you good?" They asked while coming a bit closer. It was a gootraxian luckily and I had never seen them before, they fit the description that I heard the humans talking about earlier which made me press against the wall. Were they looking for a snack or something? I was grossed out even thinking about it. The Panther tilted their head with an annoyed and yet confused face as they crouched down to my level and held out their hand as if they were inspecting me up close. This things claws were huge! I quickly snapped at them with a snarl as I pinned my ears to my head before leaning up against the wall. They pulled their paw away and just stared at me with these judging eyes, making feel rather uneasy. I tried to say something of it but I only stuttered on my words and my throat began to burn and I coughed uncontrollably I could feel them patting my back.

"I'm gonna guess not then." I heard them utter as they looked the other way. I couldn't see them thoroughly as my vision wouldn't focus correctly and I was partially blind probably because I was holding my eye down but I didn't want to pull my hand away, the wound could look a lot worst then I thought it may have been. I shivered even thinking about it my eye could have a big hole in the middle of where the pupil is supposed to be or even worst, it could be gone. It was silent for a few seconds.

"Nice scar." The panther sneered. Clearly not taking this seriously. I frowned and my nose wrinkled in anger as I cringed at their words, they laughed aloud.

"How'd you even get like this?" They walk to sit in front of me and notice my eye rapidly bleeding onto my hand and down my arm. I noticed their nervous face as they gulped down, it couldn't be that bad right?

"How did you even find me?" I manage to stutter. I was shaking so much that I was surprised I even got a word out nor a whole sentence.

"Well I heard a gunshot and came to see if there were any humans Then I saw you half dead on the floor." They say while leaning against the wall and just staring at me. I look at them confused.

"I don't care for you and I'm not worried about you. You've just peeked my interest since I haven't seen anything like you before." They huffed as they noticed my look and stared back into the distance. I looked at them speechless before down at the ground I was still in pain but I could feel the blood slightly drying against my fur as I gripped onto my eye, there's no living normally after what just happened to me will I ever look the same again? I decided to slowly take my paw off of my eye and look to the side my sight was horrific and bloodshot red as half of the things around my were laced in the bloody color. I look back to the ground and began panting while trying to catch my breath after what I just saw.

"It's that bad?" I heard them ask. I didn't listen, nor did I respond to them or even look up to them. With my claws unsheathed I grabbed the panther by the arm and clung onto it while wincing it pain, I could feel them flinch by the sudden touch but soon they relaxed. I pushed my face against their arm and tried not to look up at them as this was kind of embarrassing as strange as I thought it was I felt them take my arm with their paw and slowly brush it down to mine, clenching it tightly. Due to the comfort of the others fur I began to feel tired but I couldn't tell if I was on heavens doorstep or just in need for a simple nap I curled my self around them as I felt them rest their head above mine, feeling their warm breaths just above my fore head. It clearly wasn't safe here but I didn't really care I could barely remember where we were! I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. 

Imagine getting shot 😒🙄. Instead of doing the request in a order like a good writer would I'm doing them randomized. I hope ya'll enjoyed this chapter though!
