Shork x Protogen
Bruh how do I start a simple chapter.
BOOM! (Kaplowie)
A loud one echoed across the facility as it was suddenly painted into black. The crystals and puddles turned into a bright white color the moment the darkness touched it, luring out a few ghostly slime creatures.
A blackout. And the first one in a long time.
Shork flinched at the sound it didn't turn dark until after a few moments later. The lights flickering before going completely off. The flooded room as any other during a blackout was now engulfed into darkness. He then frantically whirled his head into different directions, fear took over once he had realized he was alone.
Shork was clearly afraid of the dark. Even though he was a gootraxian and there was nothing that could take advantage of the black foliage, he still feared it. He let out a short sigh, his tail curled to his side as he timidly shifted out of the water. He scanned his surroundings before he fully exited. He was planning to find an area that provided a brighter light source rather than the sharks that glowed at the time, they just made him more anxious.
"Why did they have to leave so soon..." He whined, referring to the rest of his siblings who had all dispersed before the blackout had started. He contemplated his next move for a short second, looking towards the door frame that lead towards the garden and a bigger cloud of darkness. His ears(?) pinned against his head as he backed away from it, it didn't look like there'd be much of anything that glowed in there. He wasn't going to take his chances with the spawn area though, the humans would never let anybody beyond or past the safe zone during this time. He EVENTUALLY decided he'd suck it up this one time and head towards the garden.
It was an incredibly slow journey considering the garden was just around the corner. He walked slowly, continuously stopping and panicking at the slightest of sounds. Some times he'd even run back to the water and cry about it for a while before trying again. And after half an hour he barely made any progress. He was now at the furthest point he had gotten to, the door frame. Although it wasn't a very big achievement he felt he had accomplished something. He began to grow desperate to get out of the dark and this stupid room. In such a short amount of time deciding he should just book it to the other side and get this over with. He hesitated multiple times, staggering about before falling forward. He sighed once again, almost ready to give up and hide in a locker.
Suddenly, loud clattering from the shelf beside him occurred. He quickly turned to it, clumsily stepping backwards as it began rocking back and fourth. Shork was already anxious enough as it was but now he was mortified as to what was causing the shelf to move. He shrieked and darted through the door his eyes not leaving the shelf as he ran away screaming bloody mary. He mindlessly ran through the hallway before crashing into a figure and falling onto the ground, he swore his eye must've split open by how hard the impact was.
"Watch where your going loser!" The figure scowled, a glitch occurring between words. Shork was still a bit dizzy. He held his head as he looked up, his vision taking a moment to focus until he recognized Dark Protogen towering above him. Shork trembled slightly out of fear and the cold air that suddenly hit him.
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" They stepped forwards, nearly stepping on his tail before he grabbed hold of it and held it close to his chest. He could tell Dark wasn't very happy with his appearance, especially since he despised him and his siblings. Shork didn't respond which only angered the android further.
"ANSWER ME!" They shrieked before grabbing him by the tail and yanking him forward. Shork yelped in surprise now in a vulnerable position as he laid on his back, unable to stand again. He simply cowered as Dark curled his fingers into a fist and prepared to hit him.
