"Are you scared?" Dylan asked.

I couldn't even answer him. Isn't it obvious? I can't let go of his arm ever since the horse started moving because I'm so scared. I feel like I'll still fall despite having him behind me.

He chuckled. "Yeah, I can feel that."

"Please.. not too fast.." I said when I felt that the horse is running faster than earlier.

We're already so far from the house that it scared me more.

"You should get used to it first. Paano kita tuturuan kung natatakot ka?"

I couldn't say anything because I'm so focused on my fear of falling. I can't even look at what's ahead of us.

"I brought you here so you can see the view." I felt his other arm snake through my waist. He pulled me closer that made my eyes widen.

It's so sudden, and he's too close. But I can't believe that I felt more secured because of that.

"It's okay, I'm holding you. You can relax, hindi naman kita ihuhulog." He laughed hoarsely.

I swallowed hard and slowly let go of his arm. I bravely looked up to see what lies ahead of us. The breathtaking view of the mountain in a sunny day surprised me. I didn't even know we're already this far, it seems like we're going up the mountain through a trail.

"Is this part of your land?" I asked curiously.

"No, we went out of the huge gates. This large portion of land is owned by the Echeverrias."

"You mean this whole land? What about the mountain?"

He chuckled. "I'm not sure, but they're the richest family here so that's not impossible."

I gasped. I have never seen a land this big, and it's a mountain, that means they're freaking rich.

"Are we climbing up?" I asked when Celeste continued walking through the trail in the middle of the lush greenery.

"No, Celeste will get tired. And the sun will be up soon, maiinitan ka."

I nodded. I looked at Celeste after what he said. It seems like he cares a lot for this horse.

"How old is she?" I asked while I tried to comb her hair.

Celeste really has a shiny and soft hair.

"She's five years old."

"Is that young or old?"

He chuckled. "Just the right age."

I nodded.

He made Celeste turn so we can go back.

"Do you like her?" he asked.

"Yes.. she's beautiful.."

"Yeah, she is, and she's rare."

I guess that is why she's special. I wonder if he'll let me use her? Or he'll make me use the other horses in the stables? I can't still move on about finding out that I am actually living in his land, and I had the guts to treat him like he's not welcome at all.

I almost jumped when Celeste started to run faster again. Dylan laughed behind me because of my reaction, he must have felt my surprise.

"I'm sorry, princess, mainit na, kailangan na natin bumalik."

I held on to his arm again. "You should warn me first!"

I heard him laughing again. I frowned and tried to look at him. "What's funny?"
