I was unexpectedly excited when the night came. Halos wala nga akong nagawa simula nang nakauwi kaninang hapon, I just waited for the night to come. At ngayong gabi na ay hindi ko na maipaliwanag kung bakit ako excited.

I'm looking forward for the call, kahit na magkasama naman kami mula paggising ko hanggang hapon.. hindi ko alam kung bakit ganito nalang ang nararamdaman ko. This is new to me.. I never looked forward for something like this before, so I feel very thrilled.

I ate dinner with my family, nagtaka pa sila dahil mabilis akong natapos at nagpaalam agad. I just smiled at them when they looked at me curiously, ayoko rin namang magtagal dahil nag-uusap sila tungkol sa trabaho at wala naman akong naiintindihan.

After that, I went back to my room to take a shower and do my usual routine before going to bed. Even Corine looks curious while watching me blow dry my hair. I usually don't put anything on my face before sleeping but I decided to put on a mask, I even put on a tinted lipbalm so I won't look pale.

"You look lively, Miss Armie, kahit na matutulog kana.." puna nito matapos kong gawin ang lahat.

I looked at her and smiled. "Do I look okay?"

Kumunot ang noo nito pero sumagot naman. "Maganda ka po."

I smiled even more. "Thank you, Corine.."

She looked at me happily, mukhang nahawa yata sa pagiging masayahin ko ngayong gabi. Happiness is really contagious huh?

"Maiwan ko na po kayo, Miss. Tawagin niyo nalang po ako sa intercom kung may kailangan kayo."

I nodded and smiled. Nang nakaalis na siya ay kinuha ko agad ang cellphone ko.

I bit my lower lip and waited for a message from Dylan, at hindi naman ako nabigo dahil ilang sandali lang ay nag-pop up na ang message niya.

Dylan Acosta:
Kumain kana?

I typed my reply immediately.

Armie Taylor:
I'm done, I ate with Mom and Dad, and Arkin. I'm in my room now

Dylan Acosta:
Alright. Kakatapos ko lang mag-gym. I'll take a shower and then I'll call you

Armie Taylor:
Okay

I heaved out a deep sigh. I didn't even notice that I'm already holding my breath. Bakit ako nagkakaganito?

Huminga ako nang malalim at humiga na sa kama. Hindi rin naman nagtagal ay tumunog na ang cellphone ko at nakita ko na and incoming videocall.

I bit my lower lip so hard, hoping that the erratic beating of my heart would stop for a bit, pero lalo lang lumala iyon nang narinig ko ang boses niya pagkatapos kong sagutin ang tawag.

"Hi!" I saw him on the screen, looking fresh from the bath, wearing a white hoodie.

"Hi.." I didn't know how to greet him back, my heart is howling inside my chest and I'm scared that he'll know how I'm feeling.

"What are you doing?" he asked. Nakita kong pinupunasan niya pa ang basang buhok.

"Nothing.. I'm just laying down here.." Kinuha ko pa ang unan ko at niyakap iyon.

He nodded. "Are you sleepy? Napagod ka kanina?"

Why.. why does he sound so good on the phone? Muntik na akong napapikit kung hindi lang kami naka-videocall.

I shook my head and sighed. "Just a bit.. we can still talk.."

He smiled. I watched him dry his hair, he settled on his bed after doing that.
