Agad akong napatakbo kay Dylan nang napaupo siya sa sahig dahil sa lakas ng suntok ni Arkin.

"What's this behavior, Dylan? Huh?!" Arkin looks so mad. Susugod pa sana siya ulit pero mabilis akong humarang.

"Stop it, Arkin! I was the one who didn't want to go home!"

His glaring eyes then went to me. "Get out of my way, Armie."

"No!"

"That's enough, Arkin."

Napatingin ako sa pintuan at nakita roon sila Mommy't Daddy. I sighed. Lumapit sila at doon palang kumalma si Arkin.

I saw him look at Dylan behind me. Nilingon ko ito at mabilis na nilapitan. Nakatayo na siya at pinupunasan ang labi. My eyes widened when I saw his lips bleeding.

"Oh my.. I'm sorry, are you okay?"

He looked at me. "I'm okay, don't worry." But then he winced when he tried to assure me with a smile.

I turned to look at Arkin annoyingly. He saw my anger and he sighed.

"Good morning Tito, Tita, and Arkin.." Dylan still greeted them with a smile. "I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused. It was my birthday yesterday and Armie made a surprise dinner in my condo. She didn't want to go home so I let her stay, I'm sorry."

I looked at them who are watching us like we're some students defending our thesis infront of them.

I swallowed hard. In normal days, this would have been easy. It's not the first time that I slept in someone's house, in fact, I have always stayed in Xian's house or condo back then, and they were fine with it.

Was it because he was my boyfriend? Kaya ayos lang sa kanila? So if I tell them now that Dylan and I are already in a relationship, will it be fine too?

I looked at my brother, nakakunot pa rin ang noo niya habang nakatitig kay Dylan. I wonder what's wrong, bakit parang ayaw niya kay Dylan? Ganoon ba kasama ang tingin niya sa kaniya? He thinks he's playing with me? Because he was a playboy before?

I sighed. Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Dylan kaya napatingin ito sa akin. I smiled at him before looking at my family. It's about time to tell them about us already, kami na, wala nang dapat itago pa.

"He's already my boyfriend, Mom, Dad, Arkin.. I hope you're not against it." I looked at my brother specifically.

He doesn't look surprised, ofcourse.. alam niya namang nanliligaw ito sa akin.

Mom smiled when I looked at her, tuluyan siyang lumapit sa amin habang naiwan si Daddy sa tabi ni Arkin at tahimik na nakatingin.

"I figured out that you're already dating since then, honey, but I'm happy that you're together now.." Mom said, and then she looked at Dylan. "We're not against it, alright? In fact I am happy.. please take care of my daughter, Dylan."

I sighed.

"Thank you, Tita, I'll take care of her, I promise that."

Muli akong sumulyap kay Daddy at kay Arkin na parehong seryosong nanonood lang sa amin. Seriously, what's wrong with them?

"Don't mind your brother, you know he's just protective of you," Mom told me.

I sighed and nodded. I know, I can't blame him. Tinignan ko si Daddy at nakita kong wala naman itong reaksyon. Hindi naman ako takot sa desisyon niya, he's scary but he lets Mom decide for almost everything.

Dylan stayed for a bit because Mom invited him for breakfast, ginamot ko rin ang sugat niya. Nang pauwi na siya ay nakita kong tinanguan siya ni Daddy pero si Arkin ay nanatiling seryoso at tahimik kaya naman nang nakaalis na si Dylan ay inirapan ko siya.
