It was a long awkward silence between us. He remained watching me with a smirk on his face, as if he knew he shut me up with what he said. Nagpatuloy naman ako sa pag-iiwas ng tingin at kung hindi pa nakabalik agad si Arkin ay baka sinundan ko na siya sa kusina makalayo lang kay Dylan.

"You should eat a lot," Arkin said while watching me eat uncomfortably.

I sighed and tried to focus on my food. Hindi ako gutom at wala akong ganang kumain, dumagdag pa si Dylan na ayaw akong tigilan sa mga paninitig niya kaya sa huli ay kaunti lang talaga ang nakain ko. Arkin's eyebrows furrowed when he saw the amount of food I left on my plate.

"You don't like the food? You want me to cook something else?" he asked.

Umiling ako at uminom ng tubig. "I'm good, just not really hungry."

Lalong nangunot ang noo niya. But in the end he sighed and nodded. "I'll bring you to your room now so you can rest."

I nodded. I just woke up an hour ago but it's better to go back to my room than stay here and let Dylan watch me all night. He looks drunk, kanina pa siguro sila umiinom. Namumungay na ang mga mata niya nang muli akong sumulyap sa kaniya.

"I'll sleep here, sa guestroom sa tabi ng kwarto mo," aniya.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Hindi naman ako nagtatanong, bakit niya sinasabi? I looked at my brother instead, he nodded.

"Let him sleep here."

Oh at mukhang nakapagpaalam na siya kay Arkin. Well.. he's drunk, he really should stay for the night.

Hindi ko na siya ulit nilingon pa nang umalis kami ni Arkin. We went to my room and ofcourse I can't let the night pass without knowing everything that happened. Kanina ko pa gustong itanong iyon sa kaniya pero nadidistract ako kay Dylan.

"What happened, Arkin? What's my punishment?" I asked when he closed the door behind him.

He looked at me and sighed. I know he's purposely trying to avoid talking about it, kaya ang tungkol lang kay Wendy ang sinabi niya kanina.

"We'll wait for Mom and Dad's decision."

My eyebrows furrowed. Bakit sila ang magdedesisyon?

"Did you tell them?"

"Eventually, they will find out, I will tell them once they're back. We can't keep it from Mom."

I sighed. "And the director will do what they want? Because we have a share in the university?"

He looked at me. He looks tired. Lumapit siya at hinawakan ang magkabilang balikat ko. "I'll take care of it, alright? You don't have to worry about it."

Umiling ako at umatras. "We can't just keep on using our authority to cover up my mistakes, Arkin. You didn't even ask me why I did that."

He sighed. "Dylan already told me what happened at the coffeeshop yesterday."

"Yes, they were wrong for doing that, but I was wrong for hurting Wendy too!"

His jaw clenched. Nakitaan ko ng galit ang kaniyang mga mata. "They've been bullying you." He said like it's enough reason for me to hurt someone like that.
