Testing mic! 1, 2!

Anybody here?

*Dusts cobwebs and coughs unattractively because a spider probably entered my mouth*

Hi guys! How have y'all been?
It's been a long ass time without you guys, I've missed you🥺😭😭

Thank you for sticking with me through my longgggg ass break 😂

School was killing me and I really couldn't do writing and school so I had to take a break.

But I'm back now because school has decided to take an unofficial break.

People at home because of ASUU strike say hiiii😂🙋

Anyway here's what you've all been waiting for, five beautiful chapters for my beautiful readers.

Have fun!!

“Guess what guys?” Lauren asked before placing her tray of food on the table and sitting down.

“What?” Rosa asked her before looking up from the pictures she was going through on her camera.

We were all sitting down at our lunch table while people kept coming and going just to sign on Justin's cast.

Especially girls and I could tell Emily was starting to get jealous which was very amusing to watch.

They kept calling him the hero of the game even though I was sure the whole school knew his injury wasn't related to the game.

“Layla just invited us to her party this Friday. All of us.” She finished before looking at me squarely.

“Whos Layla?” I asked with a confused look which made all my friends give me the 'are you crazy look', even Emily.

“What?”

“How can you say you don't know who Layla is?” Justin asked me with a raised eyebrow and I just shrugged.

“I don't know more than half of the school's population so forgive me for not knowing who Layla is. Now, are you guys going to tell me who she is or let me finish my lunch?”

“Layla is the girl that throws the most epic parties every year. Her dad is a crazy rich businessman so they have a huge house and she throws a party every time he's out of the country so this Friday's party promises to be epic!” Lauren said and I just nodded with an uninterested look.

“She's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet and I love it because she helps to change the opinion people in school have towards people like us.” Rosa said.

“What do you mean by people like us?” I asked her with a raised eyebrow.

“People automatically think once you have extremely rich parents, you're going to be all mean and snobbish which isn't true but people like Brenda and Bryce just make it seem like it's true.”

“Did you think we were mean and snobbish when you met us?” Justin asked and I shook my head at him.

“You guys were extremely nice to me the first time you met and I didn't exactly know you before then. The only reason I even knew who Alex was was because Emily spoke about him once or twice.”

“You didn't talk about me?” Justin asked Emily with a small pout and she just rolled her eyes at him.

“I didn't like you because you were always with those airheads most times.” She said referring to the cheerleaders he dated.

”I've always known you though.” Alex said making all eyes turn towards him while he just continued like he didn't say anything.

“You have?” I asked and he looked at me before nodding.
