I took a quick shower to get rid of all the salt water in my hair and in my body before settling down in my cotton pajamas.
The girls had set out everything and were currently munching on some chips and watching a movie.
“So girls, what’s the agenda for tonight?” I asked them bouncing on the bed.
“First, we talk about boys!” Lauren said excitedly and I just rolled my eyes.
“I don’t know why you’re so excited.”
“It’s exciting. Plus we get to bad mouth them including our guys.”
“You badmouth Joshua?” I asked her with a raised eyebrow which she just shrugged at.
“We have our moments.”
“Speaking of boys, what’s up with you and Louis?” Emily asked Rosa making all attention turn to her.
“That’s true. I wanted to ask you so many times but the right time never came up.” I added.
“I honestly don’t know. Things haven't been going well with us lately especially since we started dating officially.” She said in a sad tone.
“You guys seemed cool on gbe beach today though acting all lovey dovey and all.”
“That's the closest we've been in a while but as soon as we came back in, it was like he let his walls back up.”
“Did you say something or did you guys have a fight?” I asked her.
“No. He’s just been distant lately and I think he likes someone else.”
“What? Are you crazy? Louis has been in love with you forever.” Lauren said with wide eyes.
“Exactly. He’s always talking about you everytime we’re together.” I added.
“I just think there’s someone else.”
“Well who do you think it is?” Emily asked her and she gave me a nervous look.
My eyes widened in realization at what she meant.
“That’s just ridiculous. Louis doesn’t have feelings for me.” I assured her quickly but she shook her head at me.
“He’s been avoiding me recently and when he does that, he’s always going to meet. I'm not mad at you or anything but remember when he offered to ride with you guys when we were coming here and earlier on the beach today—”
“Rosalyn calm down!” I said moving to sit in front of her with a serious look on my face, “Louis and I are just friends and that’s all we’ll ever be. Fine we’re pretty close but it definitely isn’t going beyond that, I promise you.”
“I just don’t know what else to do,” she said finally tearing up, “he won’t talk to me and he just keeps avoiding me. Do you guys think he’s tired of me already?”
“Are you crazy?” Lauren asked her again, “that dude worships the ground you walk on.”
“Exactly. Maybe there’s something going on with him.” I assured her remembering Justin's words about him needing to sort some things out.
“And can’t he talk to me about it?” She asked again.
“You know boys and their pride. He probably doesn’t want you to worry about it.” Lauren told her.
“I just don’t know what to do anymore.” She said sighing.
“You guys just need to talk it out and I’m sure you guys will be fine.” I said wrapping my arms around her and she hugged me bag before Emily and Lauren joined in so it became a group hug.
