Hi guys! It's been a minute hasn't it?
I hope you've all properly adapted to the pandemic of the world because it seems like this is going to be a new normal. I just hope everyone is safe.
About the updates, I really am sorry. I haven't been in the right state of mind for a while and that's why I haven't posted but I'm definitely better now.
Plus I've been reading a lot of Wattpad books because believe it or not, we writers actually love reading on Wattpad and I think you'll all agree with me that some books just get you hooked till you're in the last word of the book and that has been happening a lot. I had to force myself to stop and update for you guys.
Also, as most of you already know, I type on my phone and trust me, it isn't the easiest thing to do in this life😂 I spend hours typing and more hours editing and since I type with Microsoft Word on my phone, I have to copy, paste and rearrange it here on Wattpad before I can publish it and the thought of going through all that just discourages me.
To add to that, it seems like this book requires more research so I have to make sure everything is detailed even though when I'm done, I know I'll still find mistakes. These days, I go around with my journal and any idea that comes to my head, I write it down so I don't miss it then when I'm settled, I work on it before I put it into writing so in general it hasn't been a bed of roses but I'm glad I'm making progress and I'm actually really excited for this book.
I already know how it's going to end although I'm still working on the in betweens, I believe we can all work through it together and I just need you guys to be patient with me. Please.
I believe the air has been cleared and I hope we're all cool now?
Thanks for understanding guys! You're all amazing.
Now onto what you've been waiting for.
I walked into the cafeteria to see my friends chatting excitedly between themselves and walked towards them.
Alex was the first to notice my presence which made him smile at me and I returned it.“Hey guys!” I greeted as I settled between Alex and Justin while they greeted me back.
“Hey Fiona, you look great today.” Justin greeted with a wide smile and I just gave him a confused look.
I was wearing my regular clothes. Yes!I dropped the fancy clothing because I was more comfortable in these anyway.
“Thanks.” I drawled as I gave him a suspicious stare wondering why he was complimenting me until I noticed a certain movement.
I looked down to see him grabbing my fries but I was too late when he shoved everything in his mouth.
“Justin you pig!” I screamed at him and moved to hit him when he blocked my hand with his arm.
“How dare you steal my food?” I growled at him.
“In my defense, I compensated you by giving you a compliment.” He said with a shrug and grabbed my juice to take a large sip.
My eyes widened in horror and I felt my anger build up.
“Wrong move Justin.” Emily said shaking her head at him.
“First you take my fries and then my drink. You’re dead Justin Green.” I muttered lowly.
“It’s just food Fiona.” He mumbled obviously getting scared of how I looked.
