Vienna's POV

"We almost thought you both ditched us" Charlotte commented as Ryan and I entered the V.V.I.P room which is only accessible to Ryan and his family, as he owns this place.

"Now why would we do that" I replied taking a seat.

"To celebrate your engagement in private maybe" Scarlett replied grinning, winking at me.

"You speak a little too much for your age, don't you" I replied teasingly.

"Tell me something new" She said dramatically flipping her hair back.

"Anyways, as tempting as the idea of staying back alone at home was..." I paused.

"But family is important too" I continued entwining my fingers with Ryan's and placing my other hand Samantha's hand, who was sitting just beside me as she just smiled warmly and blinked her eyes in agreement at me.

"Very important" Ryan replied as I rested my head on his shoulder and he placed a gentle kiss on my head.

"So what are we drinking?" I asked with enthusiasm as Ryan looked at me surprised.

"You and drinking?" He mumbled in a low voice, in a questioning manner with a little chuckle but as I was sitting so close to him I managed to hear him.

"David has ordered, our drinks must be arriving soon" Scarlett replied.

"Our drinks?" Ryan raised the question.

"I'm sure you mean our drinks..." He paused pointing at every one of us except Scarlett and Charlotte.

"Not yours. As you see, honey, you both are just seventeen and you might get entry in the club because of me but no, you do not get to drink the adult stuff...not under my watch at least" He continued.

"I'm with Ryan on this one" Samantha said.

"I knew it" Charlotte mumbled but she didn't seemed too fazed by the fact that they were not allowed to drink alcohol but on the other hand Scarlett looked a little upset.

But I don't think she's too keen to have alcohol anyways, rather I think she just doesn't wants to feel left out while all of us consume alcohol in front of her.

I do understand that feeling though...when you are a teenager you are just so eager to become an adult but when you actually enter adulthood you realise that the days you were wishing to pass by soon, were in fact the best days of your life.

"Then why are we even here? We were better off home" Scarlett replied pouting.

"Oh but Ryan, I did order for them...especially for Scarlett" David said as I could see Ryan raising an eyebrow at him.

"Oh. Did you?" Scarlett asked with a small smile.

"Yes of course..." He paused.

"Soft drinks" He continued before bursting out laughing as a few seconds later we all followed too.

But I stopped as soon as I noticed Scarlett's long face and her eyes which were now moist and I could tell that she was just seconds away from crying.

"Ryan. Shush" I mumbled to him as he immediately stopped laughing noticing what I noticed.

Everybody stopped laughing sensing the sudden tension in the air, except for David.

Scarlett wasn't looking anywhere else but at him and her intense glare finally made him stop and realize what was going on.

"You guys are so mean..." Scarlett said finally breaking into tears.

"Especially you" She continued pointing a finger at David who now looked guilty.
