"Cyaa yuh put yur fuckin' pride aside for once?! She's our sister!" A very upset Kaari yelled at Reign.
While the rest of the family spent days at the hospital for Ava and Lucky, Kaari found herself working and going home because of Reign's stubbornness. It's been weeks and Kaari was quite tired of the petty stuff.
"Mi nuh told yuh fi stay here! Yuh waah see di gyal, bye! Am NOT GOING!" Reign screamed then tossed her sweater to the side.
Balling her lips, Kaari's eyes became slit as she eyed her sister, "Yuh... yuh are so fuckin' selfish. Completely selfish!"
Rolling her eyes, Reign turned the television on.
"Disgusting," Kaari glared before storming out.
"Slow down speed demon," Tamir chuckled but Kaari gave him the hand as she entered their bedroom and slammed the door in his face.
"I ain't touching that," he turned around and headed for the stairs.
Joining Daewon and Yae'Shawn in the kitchen, he hopped on top of the counter and listened to their conversation.
"Dawg, if multiple bullets explode inside of you, yo ass ain't making it," Daewon said as he flipped his patty.
"You sound like you want him to die. Dude has a daughter."
"He was hit eleven damn times, who's surviving that?"
"Plenty of people can and has," Tamir cut in. "You think he's about to go out sad like that when he has a family out here? His ass is crazy, he ain't dying."
Daewon frowned, "since when were you team Lucky?"
Tamir shrugged, "Never had an issue with him, we're beefing 'cause of you," he reminded.
Daewon sucked his teeth, "Ain't nobody thinking 'bout him like that... told his ass I wasn't tryna hurt Ava."
"Then you decided to talk about his unborn witcho dumbass."
Yae'Shawn shook his head, "Her fiancé is in a coma and her daughter is stuck in the NICU... that's a lot to manage."
"I wonder if she got a glimpse of the shooter?" Daewon muttered.
"Why? So you can bust a move and win her heart?" Tamir smirked.
"Fuck you," Daewon laughed, "I just wanna know."
"You getting shot at, you think you gon' have time to look for a face when them hallow tips spraying at you?" Yae'Shawn frowned, "I'ma think about living, fuck looking for a face."
"Facts," Tamir agreed, "it ain't our business any damn way. You know OG already on that,"
"You right,"

"You okay?" Karen asked King. She's been checking in on every one since she heard about the incident but was concerned about King's mental state.
"I'm good," his voice was emotionless as he stared at the cabinet.
Walking towards him, she stood across from him and folded her arms, "What are you thinking?"
"Nothing," his eyes never left the cabinet.
Karen exhaled, "Kingston..."
"I'm not thinking about anything," he repeated in a harsh tone.
