Who knew an undecided breakup could hurt worst than the actual thing? Ava sure didn't. If she didn't want her family asking her a million and one questions, she would have gone back to her parents' house but to avoid things and be grown about things, she stayed at the beach house but in a different room. Everything was out of order. Her home was currently in shambles and she wanted to fix it but her feelings were hurt. Lucky words hurt her deeper than he may have intended.

Should she have been offended by what he said? She couldn't decide but did she believe he meant it? Maybe half of what he said was true. She knew he loved her, it was clear as day, and she loved him. Did she have issues that she needed to correct? Absolutely. It was a journey for her but she was trying but it felt as if he forgot about it. Did she have a right to constantly drag him down with her whenever she was going through something? No. It was never her intention but to Lucky, it must have felt as if she were just beating him silly for the hell of it.

Things weren't supposed to be perfect but it sure as hell wasn't supposed to be how things were now. Ava hated it. She was still confused because she didn't feel as if she did anything wrong. A lot of his frustrations seemed to be misplaced and since she was closer, she caught the brunt of things. Were there things that may have triggered the blowup? Possibly, but the way he reacted had her in utter shock and disbelief.

Just like last week, Ava rolled over in the bed as Ace could be heard barking in the hallway. Glancing over at Zora, Ava smiled at her. Zora smiled, touching her face before babbling and kicking her little feet.

"I slept terribly as always," Ava giggled, "you on tha' other hand look rejuvenated."

Zora only smiled wider as she clapped her hands.

"We can eat," sitting up, Ava was in the middle of stretching when the door opened.

Staring at Lucky briefly, she averted her gaze to an excited Ace as he barked at her. Ava was sure he was asking a boatload of questions and found it amusing.

"Hiii buddy," she squatted and opened her arms, allowing Ace to jump on her. "You smell minty, you just had a bath, huh?"

Ace barked.

Picking up Zora, Lucky sat down on the side of the bed and stared down at her before glancing at Ava, "Good morning."

"Hello," she casually responded before following Ace out of the room.

Sighing, Lucky stared at Zora, "Why is everything always my fault?"

Zora just stared at him.

"I'm tired of being tha' bigger person," he muttered. "But I did mess up," shaking his head, he stood as Ava returned and disappeared into the bathroom.

Ace ran back into the room barking and Lucky pointed to the bathroom before he left out as Zora chewed on his loc. Making it downstairs in the kitchen after changing her diaper, Lucky fed Zora as Ava sorted through their washed and dried clothes. She didn't touch the breakfast Lucky cooked and although he had half a mind to hurt her feelings, he let it go. She felt the need to cook something herself although he worked his ass off making the apology breakfast.

As he burped Zora, Lucky watched Ava for a while before standing behind her when she made her way to the pantry. Ava ignored his presence as she updated the grocery list. She planned to run a few errands today just to keep her mind off of their fight and the words he said but she couldn't concentrate with him breathing down her neck.

When Zora tugged on his loc, Lucky mentally kicked himself before speaking, "Can we ta—" the doorbell cut off his sentence.

Sighing, Lucky stepped back and made his way to the door. Zora was babbling a little louder than usual and he was convinced she was scolding him. Laughing at the thought, Lucky checked the peephole and became instantly annoyed at the sight of his aunt. She was three days early.
