16- SeasonsTrunks had learned at an early age, not to be surprised by whatever crazy antics the Sons might be doing whenever he visited. Half the time, the one doing the crazy stuff, was Goku anyway, and it wasn't that surprising that the man enjoyed trying to herd baby dinosaurs.
Pan and Goten were in the middle of their backyard, stretching as Goku stood between them.
"Are you guys going to wrestle?" Trunks raised an eyebrow as he walked up to them.
Goten glanced at him and furrowed his brows. "What are you doing here?"
"Panna asked me to come over. She said she needed help with something," Trunks shrugged.
It was summer break, so Trunks knew Pan didn't need any help with schoolwork. He was also off for the day, so when she called and said she needed help, he didn't ask any questions; he just came.
"Do you have a Dragon Radar?" Goten asked.
"Yeah," Trunks nodded as he furrowed his brows in confusion. He always kept a Dragon Radar on him. It was a habit he had gotten from his mother.
"Pan!" Goten yelled. "That's cheating!"
Pan straightened up and placed her hands on her hips. "Papa never said we couldn't have help! Right, Papa?" She glanced at Goku.
"That's right," he nodded with a chuckle.
"Trunks, help me!" Goten said.
"Back off, Goten!" Pan huffed as she stepped in front of Trunks. "I called him here, and he's my boyfriend!"
"I've been his best friend longer!" Goten declared.
"What exactly is going on?" Trunks asked Goku.
"Goten and Panny kept saying they were bored, and a few weeks ago, I went out and gathered all the Dragon Balls. So I went around the woods and hid them in places and told them whoever finds the most Dragon Balls in one-hour wins," Goku explained.
"Why did you gather all the Dragon Balls?" Trunks asked curiously.
"I like to say hi to Shenron every once a while," Goku said.
Trunks blinked. He wasn't even surprised.
"Trunks!" Pan grabbed his arm. "Tell Goten you're on my team!"
"I'm on Panna's team," Trunks told Goten.
"You're just going to throw away years of our friendship like that?!" Goten cried as he clutched his chest.
Trunks rolled his eyes. "Call Bulla and tell her to bring a Dragon Radar and help you out."
"That's an excellent idea," Goten nodded slowly. "Dad, don't start it until I'm back with Bulla!" He said before he took off.
"Hey," Pan squeezed Trunks' arm to get his attention, and she grinned at him. "Papa said if we gather all the Dragon Balls, we can Summon Shenron and say hi to him. Won't that be cool?"
Trunks found himself chuckling. Pan was a lot like Goku in certain ways. "Very cool," he told her with a smile. "I don't think I've seen him since Buu."
"I can't remember him," Pan frowned. "So, it'll be nice to see him!"

"I found it!" Pan chirped as she grabbed the four-star dragon ball from the cliffside.
Just a few feet away, Trunks was floating as he held the Dragon Radar and smirked. "We got four of them, Panna, and the hour is nearly up. The other three are together, which means Goten has them. I think it's safe to say we won."
