The meeting was long, and saying that was an understatement. Or maybe it felt that way because Destiny felt like all eyes were on her while Aubrey's fingers endlessly teased her thigh. He didn't stop teasing her until Brian called him back up to the front of the room.

Brian walked around the table and came to stand beside Destiny just as Aubrey stood up from his seat. The two men looked at each other, Brian with a knowing look in his eyes and Aubrey with a cheerful grin on his face. With a chuckle, Aubrey clapped Brian on the back and quickly strode to the front of the room.

Destiny kept her eyes lowered as Brian sat down in his seat. When she dared a look at him, his bright blue eyes were already studying her. Her cheeks flushed and she turned to pay attention to Aubrey.

Brian leaned in close to her. "Did you get any good notes?" he asked her in a playful tone of voice.

She bit her bottom lip while trying to focus on Aubrey's words.

Aubrey launched into departmental roles for their upcoming strategy. The IT department was to be extra watchful for hackers and any potential breaches of their security. They were also to keep closer tabs on the websites being accessed by all staff at Graham Enterprises to check for possible information leaks. The media departments already knew their roles, but those were re-established. Keep tabs on what the media outlets were saying about the situation. Forward notable information to senior management. Devise a statement that can go to press. "Creating the statement is top priority," Aubrey noted, his gaze shooting over to Brian. "I want a statement within an hour of this meeting being called to an end." He raised his wrist and glanced at his watch. "We are running a bit late, I do apologize. I'm going to go through the rest of the departments, and we will have a question and answer session before closing out the meeting."

Once the meeting was let out, Destiny didn't linger so she could get a word in with Aubrey. She followed Brian out of the conference room and excused herself to go to the bathroom. Thankfully, the bathroom was empty. She set her notebook down on the bathroom counter and gripped the edge of the sink with both hands.

Aubrey felt comfortable sitting at lunch with her, whenever he had the time. That had surprised her. Sharing lunch together was intimate enough to spark gossip, and it had sparked gossip. Whenever she walked into a room that had anyone in it, whispers often started. Who was she? Aubrey gave her an office tour on her first day - who was she, to be important enough to warrant an office tour from the owner of the company? She felt like she had a spotlight on her whenever she had lunch with him or whenever she was seen with him, but she wasn't going to deny him the right to have lunch with her. She had accepted that.

But being felt up during an office meeting with some of the most important people at this company in the room with us...no matter how insanely hot it was... She dropped her head down and closed her eyes. And Brian knows. He knew what he was doing with that cute little line about me taking notes.

Lifting her head and frowning at her reflection, she briefly wondered if Brian was the reason for Aubrey's complete disregard for propriety. Ever since Brian had shown up to the condo the evening before, Aubrey's already overstimulated libido had kicked into a higher gear. Not that she was complaining about waking up to a beautiful man tasting her inside and out. And Brian's little teasing sentiment had caused her a little embarrassment but if it hadn't been for that remark, she wouldn't have complained about Aubrey's roaming hand in that meeting, either.

The bathroom door swung open. Destiny tossed her hair back and made a show of washing her hands before evaluating her appearance and leaving the bathroom.

She returned to her department's floor, which was buzzing with energy. Brian was delegating responsibilities to the team. Everyone in the department formed an informal circle just outside of his office. The minute she appeared, Brian's eyes were on her. She was a part of the team that would search for media mentions. It was her job to sift through articles and social media comments that mentioned Graham Enterprises.
