50 Shades of Drake 1 and 2

Dear Readers,

Sooooooo here we are. Again. LOL. Literally seven years after these two stories were originally posted to Wattpad, which is insane to think about. Posted in 2015, and it is now 2022. And can you believe I still have 4 more of these to spam you with? [insert tired emoji LOL]. FIVE, if I'm counting the bonus book that will take place between books 5 and 6. It's all good, though. I am about to get to work on the quick throw-together cover I'm making for Books 3 and 4 - I never spend too much time on fanfic covers, but will possibly update with better ones over time. 

Books 3 and 4 will be in a separate book file, just to confirm, since chapter maximum is capped at 200. I cannot explain how much fun I am having reading through the stories again. There are little gems in there that I've totally forgotten about (my memory sucks in a major way, so it's easy for me to enjoy movies, shows, and books through multiple watches/reads). It's fun searching for newer pics to use for chapters. It's fun listening to some of his newer music while getting the chapters reposting. Just a very interesting experience all-around for me.

These books are not edited - I edit typos as I find em, but I came to a point when I originally wrote these, where editing took so long and people were so thirsty for chapters that I just stopped editing and put the chapters up when they were done. That happened fairly early on, too LOL. Before the books go to print (and the remaining books in the series are also going to print), they are edited, though. 

Posting these again is reminding me of how hot Ian Somerhalder is, all over again. I try to be respectful to him, because he's alllllll the way off the market but SHEESH. For those of you who don't know, Ian was the runner-up for who would have been the male lead for the 50 Shades fanfic series. Because he was a sweetheart who was married, it didn't feel right to make him the lead. Our beloved Drizzy, however was ALLLLLLL the way single and had lyrics referencing having a Dominant nature, and so "50 Shades of Drake" was born. What a ride it has been.

I love Kylie Bunbury as the female lead role, so that isn't something I would dare change. I love Avan Jogia as Carlos. I love Avan Jogia PERIOD. I intended to give him his own story at some point and probably still will. 

If you've noticed Harry Palmer has been recast. Harry Palmer was originally cast as real politician Rob Ford. Rob Ford, has unfortunately since the posting of the original story, passed away. It didn't feel right to keep using his image. It was convenient originally, because he knew Aubrey in real life and there were pics of them together. In the recasting of this character, I had to remind myself how hated the Harry Palmer character is made to be and wanted to go with someone who is equally detestable. Wanted to go with Donald Trump, but didn't want Trump's real image on my stories, so I went with Alec Baldwin's SNL impersonation of Trump instead, which is HILARIOUS to me. This isn't to get into politics or anything, because my emotions have been taken out of that equation in a major way, in order to save my sanity. LOL. But a Trump likeness is the perfect fit for the character, IMO.

Bridgette, who we get to see more of in this book, was cast as the same actress, Marie Avgeropoulos, whom I stumbled across in the show The 100. She's adorable and I just wanted to cast her in something. It's fun to see her as such a bitchy character. I've already touched on casting Kyla Pratt as Candace Patterson and Ryan Destiny as Jasmine Brown. More of their characters will be seen in the new book I'm adding after Book 5 - and I already know the overall plot of the new book for the series, so I'm excited about that. Some of Book 6 was lost and will need to be rewritten and honestly, I'm okay with that. I love how I opened Book 6 but it started getting a little meh towards the last few chapters. 

Anything else you guys need to know? Hmmmm...Just know that I personally won't be satisfied until I see this story on the big screen as a series. That is what I'm pushing for, even if I have to produce it myself. I love this story. I'm proud of this story. I love that you guys are enjoying this story as much as you are, and thank you for all of the encouraging comments you're leaving. You all have saved my sanity more than once.

I await the day that I see Ty Lepley, shirtless, playing this Aubrey character. LMFAO. Leaving an image header OF Ty Lepley, just because of this visual I'm having. And on that note, let me go and mail his publicist a copy of "Bound," so he can see the character he's gonna be paying LOL.
