14 : Softest Alpha

Two nights have passed, and I am two nights married to Nikolai. He has been this gentleman always taking care of me. No touchy feeling, no disrespect on what I want. He is particularly careful on my pregnancy. He doesn’t forget what we are and our situations. As of now, sila pa rin lamang ni Biya ang nakakaalam na buntis nga ako. In the span of two days, all he does except of taking care of me and my needs, which he certainly does not need to, is to bond with my whole pack. To gain their trust more deeply rather than being rooted on from the mere fear of him being our Alpha and being a Fera's cub. Surely enough, there are certain limitations, yet I can see the improvements. He is worthy to be an Alpha. He is always on look out with Anika especially that they are monitoring the killings all around.

Simula nang makita namin ang tatlong patay na lobo sa bangin na mula sa pack ng Luca homes ay may nadagdag na naman. Tag-iisa sa bawat gabi at sa pagkakataong ito, it is not from the Luca or our pack. One is from the Karma Homes, and one is from the Porte Homes. Parehas malayo ang teritoryo nila sa amin. Magkasalungat pa ng direksyon. Karma homes is from the south of the Hashian mountains and Porte homes is from the north. Nakakapagtaka na talaga that even Nikolai told our pack about it. He told us to be more careful.

"It's been three nights. Hindi ka ba mag-aayos para puntahan si Ignis?" napalingon ako nang marinig ko ang boses ni Nikolai.

It's seven in the evening. Narito kami parehas sa may sala. Siya ay nagbabasa lamang ng libro ilang metro ang layo sa akin, sa tabi ng katamtamang laking bookshelf niya na kakagawa lamang kahapon, habang ako ay nakahilata lang sa sofa. I was thinking the same thing Nikolai just said out loud. He just voiced out my thoughts very clearly. He wasn't looking at me or anything, but I know somehow his attention is on me. Hindi man niya ako tingnan, kahit na bulong ko ay maririnig nito dahil sa lakas ng pandinig niya.

"I mean, he must be waiting."

Nagtataka ako. He is very calm in this issue. I cannot see any hate nor madness on him. Nakakapagtaka talaga iyon lalo na at direkta niyang sinabi sa akin na gusto niya ako. I was expecting exactly the opposite of what he is making me see on him at the moment.

"Hindi mo ako pipigilan? O baka sundan mo ako at patayin si Ignis?"

"I won't do violence to you and your human. I already promised you that."

"But…"

I heard his sigh. Nakita ko na ring itiniklop na niya ang kaniyang binabasa at marahang napatingin sa akin. Ramdam na ramdam ko ang pagiging marahan niya kahit na medyo may inis akong inaassume sa sistema niya.

"You bargained with me. I bargained with you. We both drew the line here, wolfie. I stand with my words. You will hate me if I hurt anyone important to you." he said. "Alas siyete na. I'll give you the time and space, but I will only have peace when a wolf is with you. Isama mo si Biya, at least. That is my rule kaya kita papayagan. You'll only have until twelve in the evening. Pagkatapos noon, kailangan n'yo nang umuwi or else, susunduin ko kayo roon mismo."

"Really?" halos magningning na siguro ang mata ko sa ngayon at napaayos pa sa pagkakaupo. Ramdam na ramdam ko kakaagad ang kakaibang saya sa puso ko yet I am not a hundred percent going to be that happy. I should still expect the unexpected from him.
