"Honey, have you already prepared all your things for school?!" I heard my Mom shouted from the outside of my bedroom door.

I sighed. Napailing ako habang nilalagay lahat ng mga kagamitang dadalhin ko sa paaralan. I had always been organized. Hindi ako natatapos hangga't hindi naaayos ang ginagawa ko. I am not a perfectionist sadyang gusto ko lang ng malinis.

"Honey!" Kumatok na naman ang Mom ko sa pinto.

"Yes, Mom! I'm coming!" sagot ko.

"Alright! Hurry up! Male-late ka na!" aniya.

"Yes, Mom!"

Soon as I was done preparing and organizing my things, I immediately went out of my room, carrying my two bags with school stuffs inside. Ganyan ako kahanda palagi.

As I opened the door, my Mom's eyes widened as she saw what I'm carrying. "Oh my! What in the world?! Patagal ng patagal, parami rin ng parami ang mga binibitbit mong bag, ah. Hindi ba mabibigat ang mga 'yan?"

I smiled. "A bit. But it's okay. I can carry it myself naman, Mommy."

She nodded. "Alright. Let's go." Nauna na siyang maglakad pababa ng hagdan. "You still have to eat your breakfast. Goodness, Primmly Athena! Hindi tumitigil ang oras! Tumatakbo! Kaya bilis-bilisan mo iyang kilos mo!"

I sighed as I followed her. Everyday, iyan talaga ang palagi kong naririnig mula sa kanya. She kept on scolding me of how precious time is; that we shouldn't waste our time because we might not know how hard it was for other people to chase the time just for them to live each day.

She have a point though. I onced watched a movie entitled "Nick of Time" starred by Johnny Depp. It is a nice movie.

After watching it, I realized that time truly shouldn't be wasted. Kasi habang tayo ginagamit ang oras para sa mga walang kwentang bagay, may iba na nagpapakahirap habulin ang oras para lang maisalba ang buhay ng iba.

"Mom, I am not hungry. I will just lost my appetite if I would eat," ani ko.

Nilingon niya ako. "And why is that? Baka magka-ulcer ka pa kung hindi ka kakain ngayong umaga. Hindi pwede. You have to eat."

Napanguso ako. "Mom, no. I don't want to eat po talaga. Busog po talaga ako. I'll just bring sandwich sa school. I promise I'll eat it kapag nagutom na ako. Besides, may cafeteria naman sa school, I can buy whenever I get hungry."

She sighed. "Oh siya, sige. Bilisan mo diyan at nang makapagbaon ka ng sandwich. Bilisan mo 'yang kilos mo!"

Napa-yes ako. "Yes! Thank you, Mommy! Love you!"

"Love you too," malambot ang boses na sabi niya. "But still hurry up! Ang kupad mo pa rin kumilos! Goodness, Primmly Athena! You're already a second year college yet ang hina-hina mo pa rin kumilos!" Napatampal siya sa noo. "Jusko! Noong kabataan ko hindi ako ganyan kumilos! Mabilis ako dahil malayo pa ang lalakarin namin bago makarating sa paaralan!" She sighed. "I should have just emplaced you in my province."

Umawang ang mga labi ko saka mabilis na umiling. Anywhere but in her province! No!

"No, Mom! Ayoko do'n!" Ngumuso ako.
