DateIf it’s the right time and the right person, God will make it happen. They say that love is like a diamond—precious and lasts forever. There’s no such thing as wrong love. No matter how small or big your love for a person, it is already a right love.
People say that second chances matter. It’s about taking risks and giving them the chance of hurting you again but it’s also about giving a better moment for the second time around. Second chances is for everyone to learn how to take risks.
“Why don’t you give him a chance?” tanong ni Mom sa akin.
They gave me the CCTV footages that I needed for the passed years. Everything unanswered were now answered. Everything are clear enough that I can’t do anything but just cry for the lose of the past.
“Chance?” bulong ko. “Should I give him another chance, Mom?”
She smiled at me.
“Come on! Past is past!” My Dad groaned.
“Your Dad is one of those playboys of the town.
“I am faithful to you that time, honey. Why are you saying that? You’re destroying my reputation in front of our daughter,” saad ni Daddy.
“Bakit? Totoo naman, ah! Ang dami mo naman talagang babae noon! Hanggang ngayon nga, eh!” asik ni Mommy.
Kumunot ang noo ni Dad. “What?
I sighed. Umurong tuloy ang luha ko. I sniffed and just wiped my tears as I listened to them arguing.
“Oh, kita mo?
“I wasn’t letting them. Umiiwas nga ako, eh. They’re just too persistent that even if it’s illegal to invade my privacy, they would still do it,” wika ni Dad. “Tsaka, I know you know na nag-f-file ako ng case sa kanila kapag pinagpapatuloy pa rin nila ang ginagawa nila.”
My Mom rolled her eyes. “Alam mo, anak?
“Your father was trying to get you married to another man! Who wouldn’t cry?”
I sighed and pursed my lips. “Guys, stop arguing. Past is past nga, diba? It’s about me! I need advices from you!”
Natahimik sila pero ang sama ng tingin ni Mom kay Dad while Dad is looking so innocent as he look away.
“Look, this is hard for me. I don’t know where to start. Now, that I know na wala pala talagang ginawang kalokohan si Simour back in the last, I think it’s time for me to decide for the right thing,” wika ko. “What do you think should I do?”
“Give him another chance,” sagot ni Mommy.
“Well, kung ako lang naman ang tatanungin, I’d rather see you marry someone else than this boy.
